Chapter 34

Shawn's POV:
I'm still standing in the hallway, watching her disappear into the crowd. Wow. What was that? What is she doing to me? I was so close to kiss her but again I was too slow.

The thought of Jackson and her being alone makes my blood boil. You said you are gonna make a move so do it idiot! I mutter to myself. I throw my fist against the locker making everyone look at me. "What?" I ask annoyed.

They all just look weird and walk to their classes. Tomorrow's the party and I know she's going to be there. She'll not be able to walk away from me this time. I'm gonna do it. I'll tell her how I feel.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice, I was standing alone in the hallway. I shake my head and walk to my next class. "Were have you been at lunch ?" Luc asks catching up to me. I was talking to Mrs. Lotch about the school festival. "I reply. "Oh okey. So, Shawn what was that with Maggie in the hallway?" he grins.

„You saw?" I say nervously scratching my back. He nods. "I'm going to ask her out. Tomorrow at the party." I state. "Finally!" Luc shouts and throws his hands in the air. I laugh and we head to our next classes.

Leah's POV:
I wasn't in the mood to see Maggie or Shawn at lunch. I know that he meant her when he said that he's in love with someone else. I don't know what to do. I could talk to Shawn at the party tomorrow.

Suddenly I see Stefanie walking towards me with a red face. Oh my god! I start to laugh. She has green hair! As she sees me, her face gets even more red. She looks so angry. I try to stop laughing but it just ends up in coughing loudly. She walks towards me with her friends following her.

„Oh you think this is funny?! Do you have something to do with that?" she screams into my face. "No... sadly." I whisper the last part but she heard it. I feel a burning pain on my left cheek. I put my hand over it. She slapped me. She grins devilishly and pushes me to the floor.

Okey that's enough. I stand up and was about to punch her when someone grabs hand.
I turn around angrily. "Leah she's not worth it. You'll get in trouble." Aiden whispers into my ear, still holding my hand. I could feel his warm chest on my back which makes my heart beat faster.

„Listen to this loser, Leah. You know what I'm capable of." Stefanie laughs and starts to walk away. I reach for her again but Aiden holds me tighter. "Aiden let me go!" I growl, trying to get out of his grip. "Only if you calm down and promise not to rip the rest of her hair out." he chuckles.

I cross my arms. Why shouldn't I do that everyone would be happy. "You know she'll get you in trouble if you do that." Aiden says like he knew what I was thinking of. He puts his head on my shoulder and waits for my answer. I notice that he's still hugging me from behind, making me blush. Why am I so nervous?

"Fine." I mumble and he slowly lets go of me. He bends down to pick up the books which fell to the floor. So sweet. "Are you okey?" he asks. "Yeah. I'm fine but she's going to get that back." I answer angrily. I start to walk to my next class but Aiden stops me. "Umm... Leah, I wanted to ask if you want to do something today. We could go eat or something like that?" he stutters nervously.

Is he asking me on a date? He's so nice. Saying yes won't hurt. "Sure, sounds good." I answer smiling. He smiles to and we walk to our next class. I have english with Maggie and Shawn now. Great. The lesson starts in five minutes.

No one will already be there. I have to talk to
Maggie. Maybe she's in front of the school. I walk out of the building and see her standing there with Emma. I wait till Maggie walks away and run after her. "Hey Maggie!" I say and hug her tightly. I have to tell her that I lied. "Leah that hurts." She breathes out. "Oh yeah sorry. How are you?" I ask.

„I'm good. It doesn't hurt as long no one touches it." she chuckles slightly. I smile and take a deep breath. "Umm Maggie I have to tell you something." I mumble, looking down. "What is it?" she asks. "Well, I.... umm please don't be mad at me but-" I try to say but I just couldn't.

„Just spit it out Leah." Maggie laughs. "I'm sorry that I didn't visit you after the accident but my mom needed me for something. I wanted to visit you on the evening but you didn't pick up and so I thought you just want to rest." I ramble as an excuse. She smiles slightly.

Thank god she believes me. "It's fine Leah. Don't worry about it. Shawn was there anyways." she answers. What? Shawn was there?
