Chapter 55

Maggie's POV:
I quickly walk down the little steps and out of the cinema hall. Turning to the left and right, I search for the man but I can't see him. I walk down the hall to the exit of the building.

A cold wind blows making me shiver as I hug myself to keep me warm. I should have brought my jacket. I look around the parking lot in the dim lights of the street lamps. On the other side of the road is standing someone but not alone. He talks to another person.

I quietly walk nearer, the clicking if my high heels not making it easier. They stop talking and look into my direction. I just froze on the spot I'm standing. I watch as one of them walks nearer, unable to move. What am I doing? It's better if I go inside again. "What are you doing here?" A voice asks making me scream. "Woah Maggie it's just me." Shawn laughs as he puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Oh sorry... I just... I needed a bit fresh air." I sigh and smile so Shawn doesn't worry but it didn't work. He frowns, his eyebrows scrunched as he thinks. He pulls me into a tight hug. I wrap me arms around his neck and Shawn wraps his around my torso.

"Maggie if there is something bothering you please tell me. Talk to me. You can tell me everything you know that." he mumbles and kisses my cheek before looking into my eyes again. I could see worry and fear in them.

Oh god. I don't want him to feel bad. But I don't know if I should tell him. He's leaving tomorrow evening and I don't want to worry him. He has to be concentrated. "I know Shawn. I will but there's nothing to talk about. I'm just a bit stressed lately." I sigh and nudge my nose against his, making him smile.

"Okey." He sighs. "What about we don't go to the dinner with them after the movie but go to me instead. I know something that will make you relaxed." he adds smiling. "But we-" "No but! We'll just say that we want to spend time together before I leave." he says grinning. "Okey." I chuckle and we walk back into the cinema while holding hands.

"I'm just gonna get my stuff." I say and place a soft kiss onto his lips. "Don't forgot your bikini." Shawn says, opening the car door for me. "I'm not going into a pool, it's cold outside!" I complain but Shawn hushes me with a kiss. "We are not going into a pool. We are going to take a bath and I'll massage you. Sounds good?" he asks smiling proudly.

"Yes. You are the best boyfriend ever." I answer grinning. "I know." he winks as I walk into the house. "Melly?" I shout expecting her to rum towards me but she's nowhere to be seen. I walk into the living room, bedroom also her room but she isn't there.

As I walk into the kitchen, I see a little note on the counter. "I took your sister with me to a friend, since you haven't been home like you should be at this time. - Aron" I read out loud. He took her with him? Aron takes care of Melody? He wouldn't let anything happen to her right? No mom would kill him.

Oh no. I'm gonna be im trouble when he comes home. Not thinking about it further, I quickly collect my stuff and jog to Shawn's car. We arrive at his house and he picks me up, walking to the front door. "Shawn I can walk!" I laugh, as he throws me over his shoulder to unlock the door.

He chuckles, finally pushing the door open and walks in with me. "Are you parents or Aaliyah home?" "Nope." he answers and sets me onto the floor again.

„Come on." he whispers, taking my hand to pull me with him up into his room. "Why are we whispering?" I whisper chuckling afterwards. "I don't know." Shawn laughs causing me to shake my head. He's such a dork sometimes. "So let's change." He says and goes to his closet, pulling bathing shorts out.

"I'll let the bath in." Shawn walks into the bathroom and I make sure he closed the door before I change. After putting my bikini on, I watch myself in the mirror. Do I look okey? Why do I care? Shawn has seen me in a bikini many times before.

"Maggie it's ready." Shawn calls from the bathroom. I slowly walk towards the door and open it revealing a smiling Shawn. Rose petals are around the bathtub full of bubbles and a few scented candles are lit up on the sink and floor. "Shawn you are so cute." I laugh and walk over to hug him.

"Glad you like it. You look stunning." Shawn says smirking while eyeing me up and down. I blush uncontrollably and shove him playfully. "Shut up." I mumble. "What it's the true." he chuckles. "Let's get in now."
