Chapter 18

Shawn's POV:
After PE I walk into the the changing room to go showering. I pull my shirt over my head as I see Jackson walking in. He wasn't there the whole lesson. "Where have you been buddy? Finally got another girl home after Stefanie?" Micheal another popular boy asks him smirking.

God, how can girls fall for someone like them. I was about to head to the showers as I heard a name I would have never expected. "Oh I was with Maggie. You know the cute girl which Stefanie hates so much." he answers smiling. What? Maggie? She would never... right?

Feeling the anger rise in me, I slam my locker shut and started to walk towards them. Luc suddenly steps in front of me and I almost ran into him. "Woah Mendes, what's wrong ?" he questions confused. I ball my fists remembering that I texted Maggie earlier.

"Nothing" I growl taking my phone out of my pocket. I look at the new message. She texted me that Jackson drove her and they were at a cafe. Why would he even drive her? And should I believe her ? They could have done god knows what!

I got even more angry but as I look into their direction again, they were already gone. "Well, it doesn't look like nothing." Luc states rolling his eyes. "I said it's nothing" I snap walking past him. I let the cold water run over me. Clearing my head. I'm gonna talk to her later.

Maggie's POV:
Just as I thought the day couldn't get any worse I remember that I have a maths exam tomorrow, which I learned way too less for, and I have to meet with Jackson again today for our project. Great. My arm hurts like hell too. I decided to skip History. I sit on a little stone bench near the school.

I can't stand a boring lesson now. I sigh resting my wounded arm on my bag carefully. The sun was shining and a cool breeze was blowing into my face. I think about what Shelley said yesterday. With horrible relationship she meant my ex boyfriend Damian. I still don't know what happend to him. At first he was like the sweetest guy on earth but after two months he started to want things from me I wasn't ready for.

I told him and he seemed so understanding. But just a few days later I chaught him cheating with one of my ex best friends Thalia. We grew up together but I just couldn't forgive her. She knew how much I loved him. She's going to another school and Damian moved far away a few weeks after I broke up with him.

What hurted the most was that he said he did never care about me. He just wanted to have fun but I was too boring. That was about a year ago. I didn't have a boyfriend since. One reason is that shortly after that my mom got sick, so I didn't really have time after that.

The other reason for it is that I don't want to get my heart broken again. The only ones who know about that are Shelley and Leah. "Hey girl." a voice says whose owner I definitely don't want to see right now.
