I woke up and looked for her but I just saw a note on the table.

"What if I needed was you?"

I shook my head as I don't want to need someone like her. She's a loudmouth, nosy, and an Amazon though I wouldn't have escaped those bastards if it wasn't for her.

I am alone. My parents left after that one fateful day and blamed me for just one mistake and it kept on haunting me. It's been a year and I have never heard from them.

I can't concentrate at school as I work every night except when I race. I'm a part time mechanic as my parents refused to acknowledge my presence.

My fever broke and I'm hungry. The soup tastes good and wonder if there's more left. I went to the kitchen and saw it was spotless and I can't help but smile. Too bad there's no more soup and looked for something to eat at the fridge. Shit. My stomach wants to real something real. Yeah I need something real. Kara.

I still had the note on my hand so I got my phone and called her.

What will I tell her?

Come here? Go to my condo and bring food? That doesn't seem right. Well I'll do what I do best.

I tap sent and was amazed that she replied immediately.

Umupo ako sa may balkonahe at nag-abang ng prince not so charming ko nang biglang nagtext siya.
