Mridula's POV

Shreyas and I were rewatching a few of our personal favorite movies, and he was being as annoying as usual.
"Mridula,"
"Hm?"
"Mridula!"
"Hm?"
"Mridula!"
I turned to him with an angry look, "What!"
He smiled, "You're adorable when you're annoyed,". He mumbled and rested his head in the crook of my neck. I shoved him away with an exasperated sigh.
"Lunatic," I chuckled and he smiled. I saw his hand slip into his pocket, and he chuckled.
"Can I ask you something?" He hesitated and I frowned,
"Sure," I shrugged, and he ran a hand through his hair.
"I thought about this a lot," He stuttered and I turned to him with a curious look. He looked at me straight in the eye and fished a box out of his pocket.
"We've been dating for six months now," He smiled and my heart hammered in my chest.
This is the moment!
"I've been thinking if this would be a promise ring... or a start to something else." He took my hand in his, and I just stared at him.
"Will you marry me?"
