"I suggest, headmaster. That Potter is not being entirely truthful. It might be a good idea if he was deprived of certain privileges until he is ready to tell us the whole story I personally feel he should be taken off the Gryffindor quidditch team until he is ready to be honest." Said Snape.

"Really Severus. I see no reason to stop the boy playing quidditch. This cat wasn't hit over the head with a broomstick. There is no evidence at all that Potter has done anything wrong." Said McGonagall.

"Everything we said was true. The feast was already over by the time we saw through the door. So we were just going to head to bed and maybe see if we could get leftovers or early breakfast tomorrow." I said.

I was surprisingly good at lying. Probably because I don't really remember much and so I have to lie about remembering things.

"Innocent until proven guilty, severus." Said Dumbledore.

Snape and filch looked furious.

"My cat has been petrified! I want to see some punishment!" Said Filch.

"We will be able to cure her Argus. Professor Sprout recently managed for cure some mandrakes. As soon as they have reached their full size, I will have a potion made that will revive Mrs Norris." Said Dumbledore.

"I can do it, I must have done it a hundred times. I could whip up a mandrake restorative draft in my sleep." Said Lockhart.

"Excuse me, but I believe I am the potions Master at this school." Said Snape.

"I think it's better, professor Lockhart. If you leave it to the experts." I said.

I saw Snape nod.

"You may go." Said Dumbledore.

We all left quickly without actually running. Harry pulled us into an empty classroom and close the door quietly behind us.

"Do you think I should have told them about the voice I heard?" Asked Harry.

"I was wondering why we weren't saying that." I said.

"No, hearing voices no one else can hear isn't a good sign, even in the wizarding world." Said Ron.

"But I could hear it too. Isn't it better if two people here than one." I said.

"Yeah but it still makes you sound crazy." Said Ron.

"You do believe me, don't you?" Asked Harry.

"Course I do, but... You must admit it's weird." Said Ron.

"I know it's weird, the whole things weird. What was that writing on the wall about? The chamber has been opened..... What's that supposed to mean?" Asked Harry.

"I don't know but it can't be good." I said.

"You know, it rings a sort of bell. I think someone told me a story about a secret chamber at Hogwarts once might have been bill." Said Ron.

"And what's on earth a squib?" Asked Harry.

To mine and Harry's surprise Ron stifled a snigger.

"Well...it's not funny really....but as it's filch. A squib is someone who was born into a wizarding family but hasn't got any magic powers. Kind of the opposite of muggle born wizards. But squibs are quite unusual. It filch trying to learn magic from a Kwikspell course. I reckon he must be a squib. It would explain a lot. Like why he hates students so much. He's bitter." Said Ron.

A clock chimed somewhere and I vaguely remembered not eating and having to go check up on Shaun.

"Midnight, we better get to bed before Snape comes along and tries to frame us for something else." Said Harry.
