As they made their way to Bobby's house there was a figure shadowed behind a plastic lamp post. Hoppy felt unsettled but kept walking near Kickin and their friends. "Let's hurry" they say dragging Kickin across the road and making it to Bobby's house 2 minutes before the others. "You okay Hoppy?" asked Kickin worried about his friend. Hoppy nods their head yes as the rest of their friends make it over. "Hey, everything okay?" asked Bobby concerned about his jumpy Hoppy is. "Something is here.." Hoppy said as a figure lurked around the carrot house and snuck in through a vent.
Hoppy was shaking badly, all their friends were worried about them, but they couldn't say what was wrong, they only opened up to Catnap and Dogday because they seemed trustworthy enough with Dogday being the leader of the critters he was trusted the most, Catnap being a close second. "Wonder what's got Hoppy so worked up, they're normally so happy-go-lucky something messed them up badly" said Bubba wondering about what happened that could've gotten Hoppy so freaked out. "Maybe you need some jasmine tea?" suggests Bobby going to the kitchen "Catnap let's me have some of his tea to help when I need sleep" she says as she started to get water from the sink. Hoppy watches their friend's smiling faces, the serene scene in front of them makes them feel safe and happy, the scent of roses in the air helps calm them down as they breathe and smile towards their friends.
In Hoppy's house in the shadows of the night a lone figure wanders the isolated house. It scans the place finding a picture of all the smiling critters giving Dogday a hug, the figure sees Hoppy and swiftly scratches the picture of Hoppy out. Everyone was still hugging Dogday in the picture but Hoppy's face had three scratches through it. "Victim number one found" the figure voiced in a child's voice.
