"You really left me on the sofa to break my back didn't you" I groaned and stretched my body

"Well I knew you wouldn't want to sleep in the same bed as me" he shrugged

Okay maybe he was right, but really?! Couldn't he be a gentleman for once

"Well you could  have slept on the sofa and let me take the bed" I argued and walked further into his kitchen, he stopped and turned to me from where he was pouring two glasses of orange juice.

"Nope doctors orders" he shrugged and I stared at the back of his head before pretending to throw something at it, my tensed back muscles pulled only to cause sharp pain going from my ban through my arm

"Ow" I moaned and took shuffling steps to the dining table careful not to cause any more cramps.

We'd watched a film last night and i ended up falling asleep on his couch, instead of him waking me up or setting up a proper bed for me he let me sleep there and now I fell like my back is broken.

"Here" he handed me my juice before leaning in to kiss me

I swerved that shizz  like I was on a basketball team and found my hand on his chest blocking him.

He smirked down at me and raised an eyebrow "are you really that mad about it?"

I glared at him slightly even though that hadn't ben the reason why I stopped him

He sighed and and stood up straight "fine I'll show you the medical report"

I whipped my head and looked at him, really? That doctor actually put it in his medical report that he should sleep on a bed?!

I went to grab my drink and Dalton leaned down again his face close to my right shoulder, I looked at his face plucked lips and closes eyes, I couldn't help but laugh and then nudged his chin with my shoulder

"I haven't brushed my teeth" I snapped and he rolled his eyes "now back away and drink your juice"

He sat down right next to me and gulped down his drink.

"What do you usually do on a Sunday?" He mumbled before clearing his throat

I sipped mine and gave him the side eye "I go to church...which reminds me-" I looked around the room for s clock but e didn't seem to have one in the kitchen..."what time is it?"

He shrugged and pulled out his phone from his pocket before sliding it over to me.

New phone I thought to myself

I snapped out of my daze and pressed the button "eight, I have about two hours to get there" I nodded and gulped down my juice in one go as he watched me  with a raised brow

"I need all the nutrients in the juice to restore the damage done to my back" I argued

He chuckled and stood up "I'm going to the store to get a few things..." He stopped by the door and looked at me "need anything?"

Honestly ...I wanted to go with him but um...

I shook my head "your phone"

"I'll be about five minutes anyway" he called from the corridor even though I couldn't see him. I grabbed his phone and went o the corridor to find him by the door with a jacket on slipping on some trainers.

He stood up straight and gave a boyish grin when he saw me watching him whilst leaning on the wall.

His eyes went to the phone in my hand and he smirked before walking over to me as I failed to hide it.
