Chapter Twenty Five

Karlie's P.O.V:

Waking up next to Taylor at 6.30am this morning was an absolute dream, despite her taking up nearly all of the bed last night I have never felt so content upon opening my eyes before. Adjusting to the brightness I roll to the left where Taylor always sleeps and notice her still sleeping soundly with her face towards the window. I smile at the small smile on her face but turn to see her phone vibrating on the nightstand. Rolling my eyes I decide that if it's Tree I'll ignore it but seeing a request from Andrea for FaceTime I quickly accept it and sit up, hoping that I look halfway predictable. "Morning Tay...oh Karlie good morning." Andrea states through the phone,
"Morning Mama Swift, looking for Taylor?" I can hardly hold my laughter as Andrea tries to look like it doesn't shock her that I'm holding Taylor's phone at 6.30am in the morning in London. I hear a groaning from beside me and movement as Taylor shuffles in the bed. "Is she there? Or is she still asleep?" Andrea questions.
"She's still sleeping, how's Aubree?" I question as Andrea scans her phone around and I see Aubree playing with the blocks I gave her for her birthday. "She's as happy as can be, her and Scott built castles yesterday which looked great, I took heaps of photos so Taylor doesn't feel that she missed out." She continues as I smile and nod as Andrea switches the camera around.
"Do you want me to wake Taylor?" I question as Andrea uhms and ahs not really knowing what to do. "Hold up I'll wake her." I nudge Taylor with my foot as Andrea tries to avoid looking at me obviously not knowing where to look. With a groan Taylor rolls completely over and faces me as she throws her arm over my waist. "Come back to bed Karlie..." she states as I hide a laugh but continue to shake her, "Taylor, it's your mom." I say as Taylor simply groans,
"Not now..." which makes Andrea laugh and say,
"Don't worry, get her to call me later. I'm just going to put Aubree down for her nap and then do some baking. I've got time." She states as I nod and we say goodbye before we hang up. Placing Taylor's phone back on the nightstand I take her hand off my waist and tuck it back onto her pillow.

Wriggling towards the edge of the bed I stop when Taylor speaks again, "who was on the phone?" she questions sleepily. "Your mom..." I heave out as she rolls into my vacated spot and then sleepily looks at me. "My mom?" I turn and nod at her,
"Yeah, she rung and I saw Aubree playing with the blocks in the background. Your mom said you can call back whenever, she's putting Aubree down for a nap first then baking but yeah she rang. I was already awake so I answered, I thought she may worry if you missed the call." Taylor nods at me understanding. "Yeah, well lately I've always been up at this time because I haven't been able to sleep." I smile at her and lean over,
"Oh yeah, what's been keeping you up?" I question as she looks at me shy all of a sudden.
"You." I look at her but she only buries her face in my vacant pillow.
"Oh well that's good, at least I know that I'm not the only one who is kept up." I state as she peaks at me. "Really?" I nod and lean into her and see her roll and pucker her lips slightly, leaning in I waste no time in and pressing mine to hers. "Mmm," she moans into my lips as we merge and she quickly pulls me over her and I bridge over her but she places her hands on my back strongly before pulling me down. "Taylor," I groan as her hands trace my back.
"What Karlie?" she questions pulling back as I look down at her and see her biting her lip, "you nervous?" I nod at her but press my lips to hers for a tender kiss.
"I've never been with a female before and I don't want to rush." I state not wanting her to feel like I don't care but also not fully stating that I'm comfortable with moving further on than she is with our relationship, if you can call it that due to us only expressing that we love each other. Neither one of us has actually asked the other out. "Okay, well I've never been with a female before either. But we can take this as slow as we both feel the need to." I nod at her words,
"That sounds perfect." I state kissing her one more time before rolling to her side of the bed and snuggling with her. "This is nice." I state as I hear Taylor sigh like she is content. "Are you busy tonight?" I question as Taylor rolls towards me and nods, my heart instantly falls through the middle of the earth. "Oh that's okay then." I state continuing to look at her as she breaks out into laughter. "I've got a dinner reservation with this amazing blonde with green eyes. You may know her, her name is Karlie Kloss." I smirk at her and pull her towards me and then on top of me as I press kisses to her cheeks, lips and face. "You're a bit sneaky." I state as she sits up and straddles me while peering down. I look at her dressed in her cat pyjamas and instantly laugh. "Are those the same as the pyjamas we got Aubree in August last year after that trip around New York?" she looks down at her pyjamas and then laughs, "yeah I went back to the same shop a few weeks later and got one's that were made for adults so of course I brought some..." she states leaning down and kissing me. "May have even brought some for you to wear at home too." I nod and laugh, imagining Taylor returning to the shop and creating more havoc for the poor counter girl who stuttered over her words whilst ringing up our total that day. "That poor girl, what was her name Grace. She was bowled over by you." I say as I look up at her.  "Yeah that's true. But I dealt with the owner this time so no issues with her this time." I smile at her words as we sit there, well she sits there and I lie there with her resting on me.

Taylor's P.O.V

8.00pm:

I'm running around like I've lost my head trying to get ready for my date with Karlie. She was so romantic while asking me in bed, but it's been such a great day. I did FaceTime my mom back and I even saw Aubree playing with her toys with my dad and Austin who must be home for a little bit. I know that he's graduating soon, as are most of my friends still in high school so it's all very exciting because I've never experienced that before. I got sent my diploma in the mail so I've never worn a gown or walked across a state which makes me sound hard done by but it hasn't been too bad. I told mom what had happened between Karlie and I from admitting that we loved each other until this morning when my mom wanted to know whether we had stayed together. I had to coyly step around her questions because she was getting really curious about everything so I focused on asking her what she baked and told her I would be home tomorrow to Nashville to collect Aubree. I also told her I didn't know if Karlie would be joining me or not so to not bank on it. Shaking my hair out I stare at my reflection in the mirror as the doorbell rings signalling that Karlie has arrived for our date. With one last breath I turn and open the door to a familiar green eyed face with the sunshine smile that I love so much.

10.30pm:

Bursting through the door with Karlie my back hits the door frame as I struggle out a faint, "fuck." Karlie stops attacking my collarbones long enough to look at me and wrap her hands behind me and rub my back where I hit as I push my face into her long neck and start biting gently leaving small marks. "Tay..." Karlie stutters as I turn and drag her towards the bedroom. We giggle like a pair of small kids and the minute the bedroom door shuts we both shyly look at each other before coming in gently for a kiss. "You okay?" I check as Karlie smiles,
"I'm sure I'm okay." She confirms as she moves back in and reaches for the zip at the back of my dress. I shiver with excitement as I too reach for the back of her crop top, we both tumble onto the bed in true first time fashion. Nervously and as our clothing begins to fall to the ground and our breathing becomes more rugged it occurs to me that without us meaning or intending to share a romantic night together, it appears that this is what we are doing. "You okay?" Karlie questions as she removes my panties and blows gently on my exposed stomach. "Yeah...you?" I question as she nods and moves in closer to me as I quickly say, "be my girlfriend?" Karlie stops in her tracks,
"What?" she questions looking at me obviously to make sure that I said what I said.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I questioned once more as she nods and leans in with a kiss.
"Of course I will. I love you." "For you, anything." Which brings a smile to my face as we snuggle together.
