Chapter Forty Six

Karlie's P.O.V

Something is up in this house. Taylor is slinking around the house and Noah is avoiding looking at her at all costs making me think that he just may have broken something and went to Taylor rather than me so he can avoid a punishment. I sit down on the couch in the lounge and look outside at the large white marquee and know that tomorrow is the day that everything changes for us and so rather than be nervous about what is broken in the house I decide to just avoid the topic altogether. I spot Aubree less than two metres from me playing with her shopping ingredients that Andrea and Scott got her plus a little basket. She plays a little game in her little world and will take things from one place to another using her shopping basket, it's really cute to watch. "Hey mom," Noah states flopping down next to me wearing his swimming shorts and no shirt. "You going out for a quick train?" I question.
"No, I'm just going to hang out. Austin's supposed to be cleaning it and then he said that I can swim." He stated leaning back and sighing deeply, not that I can blame him. It's pretty warm out today. "I'll get Aubree changed and we might come down." Noah nods and stands up,
"I'll go ask mom to come too." I nod and watch him disappear as Aubree tootles over towards me and hands me an apple. "Thank you baby, it's beautiful." I state kissing her cheek as she giggles at me and tries to take it back, "oh no baby, this is mama's." I state as she laughs at me and tries to climb onto me to take it back. "Mine, mine, mine..." she chants as I laugh and drag her onto me, "mama, mama, mama..." I state back as Taylor and Noah come back into the room, Aubree automatically turns towards them and holds her hands out for Noah who without hesitating goes in and scoops her up. "What's up Aubree?" he questions as Aubree points at the apple in my hand and I hold it out and she launches out but I take it back making her bottom lip drop and quiver. "Oh don't cry baby." I state standing and moving towards Aubree but she reaches out for Taylor instead making me smile at her as Taylor rubs her back. "Aww Aubree, don't be mean to mama." Taylor states before turning to me. "Noah's going out swimming he asked me to go too, I want to take Aubree out. Are you coming out?" She questions as I nod.
"Of course, I'm going. I'll go get changed, Noah make sure you put sunscreen on." I state leaving the room as Taylor follows with Aubree. "Sure mom." He states rolling his eyes but I let it go because it's the day before the wedding.

Noah's P.O.V

I make my way out to pool where I can see Austin putting all the chemicals away. "Hey man," he states as I make my way into the pool area and tossing my towel on the couch by the spa. "You almost done?" I question as Austin nods,
"Sure am, been doing this for the last hour." Austin states. I nod and pick up the leaf skimmer so I can skim the pool to make the process faster. We work in silence for a few minutes until Austin stops and stands up, "so I had a question for you." Austin states as he turns to face me, I nod and stop skimming to look at him. "How do you find everything?"
"What do you mean?" I question not really understanding what he means.
"Well you know with Taylor and Karlie or your mom's or whatever you call them..." I laugh but gesture for him to continue. "Well the paparazzi really annoy me whenever I visit Taylor so I was just wondering how you deal with it? You know school and swimming and I don't know..." I sit back and think about what Austin just said. "Well, I don't know I guess I just deal with it. Your sister and Karlie did an amazing thing the day that they met me and I guess it doesn't bother me because it doesn't bother them. Sure it's not normal but it's my life and I don't think that it's a big deal...so yeah." I stammer, not really knowing what exactly I'm actually saying. Austin nods at me and then says, "I never expected you to say that man. I'm glad you're my nephew you're the best." I grin at him as he holds out his hand for some knuckles which I happily give him and as I see my moms and Aubree coming through the gate and I get a great idea. "You need anything else?" I question but he shakes his head, so I fake walking over towards my mom's but instead I give Austin a large shove and he falls spluttering into the pool and as I burst out laughing he stands up and shakes his head. "You little shit. I'm gonna get you back, sooner or later." I smirk at him and say
"Sure you will."
