Tears started falling down my face.

"How you know I was thinking about him?"

"Girl that's your husband at this point. I know you love him to death. I know you blaming yourself for his current state, but he knew what he was getting into," she said.

"Cut yourself some damn slack. The deaths that have happened were god's plan. Don't carry burdens that aren't yours to bear," she said.

"Now wipe your tears. I can hear you balling your eyes out through the phone. Go spoil yourself today. Relax a little. Stop acting like you need to go through shit alone because you don't. That's what family for," she said.

I wiped my tears and laughed.

"What am I gonna do without you?"

"Girl, I don't know," she said laughing.

"So, where is Miracle?" She asked.

"School."

"Why the hell you ain't there?" She asked.

"Classes were canceled."

"Mmmhmm, " she said.

"I'm serious. You know, I don't just ditch school."

"If you say so..." She said.

"Anyways, how are you and Rashawn?"

"We doing good. We got a dinner date tonight, " she said, sounding excited.

"Take pictures."

"I will, " she said.

"If he ever breaks your heart, call me. Imma beat a nigga up, yup."

She laughed.

"Okay, " she said.

"Well, I'll let you go."

"Okay. I'm glad you are finding peace with yourself. I love you. Talk to you later," she said.

"I love you too. Talk to ya later."

I guess I could use a spa day. I need somebody to go with though. I'll ask Laila.
