The Fuyutama clan have a unique ability to replicate bloodlines of other clans through the exchange of bodily fluids or connecting their chakra to a person's chakra network, the later only allows the user to use the bloodline for a limited time before it disappears. They are able to use nature chakra and have strong yin energy. Some members have been known to be able to summon spirits and the clan does practice ancestral worship.
They are fairly skilled in bukijutsu and have chakra reserves than can rival an Uzumaki's as well as advanced chakra control. The clan is seen as somewhat of a polymath to the ninja arts and use various techniques. They also are weapon forgers even though their use is confidential to the clan.
