Your Pov

...timeskip a one week later...

Ciel and I are currently sitting in the study going over some letters.

"Y/n, we got to ask." Ciel said and I turned and rubbed the back of my head.

"I don't know..." I mumbled. Ciel looked over at me and tapped his finger on the desk.

"What do you mean, I don't know?" Ciel asked and I placed my hands in my lap.

"It's not that I don't want to know, I'm not sure what will happen once I hear the truth." I replied and Ciel sighed.

"You do have a point, I'm not sure how he's going to react once I force the truth out of him. For all we know he could erase both our memories this time." Ciel pondered.

knock, knock

The door was sung open by Sebastian wheeling in a sliver cart. He didn't say a word and just poured two cups of tea and gave us both one. I felt my chest tighten and I looked out the window.

"So, young master. Let's get this over with shall we? I'm tired of the games." Sebastian replied darkly and Ciel sighed. I noticed Ciel take his eye patch off and I saw Sebastian smirk. 'Something isn't right.' I thought.

"Sebastian, I order you to tell me the full truth about your past with Y/n Phantomhive." Ciel said and Sebastian's mark glowed.

"If a my by frank, this isn't how I expected things to occur." Sebastian said and began walking toward us. He was scanning the room and I could see his real form start to leak out from behind him.  He walked over to Ciel and grabbed his face, I quickly stood up and Sebastian glared at me.

"Do you remember our contract?" Sebastian asked and Ciel nodded.

"Of course." Ciel replied.

"Then you remember you asked three things of me.. (1) I am to protect you and never betray you until you reached your revenge. (2) Obey your orders unconditionally. (3) Never lie." Sebastian replied.

"Yes, but, what does this have to do with this?" Ciel mumbled and Sebastian back away and sat down.

"Well, you could say this is outside our contract." Sebastian replied.

"No, it's not, you have to obey my orders." Ciel said and Sebastian leaned against his hand.

"Yes, that is true. I will tell you the truth. but, 'fully' I can't. I am bound and very limited on what I can say." Sebastian replied. I looked over and tiled my head.

"You can't be serious!" Ciel said.

"Sadly, I am. So, you won't get the satisfaction of knowing the truth. Just be grateful I'm allowing you to force me into a corner. It's not everyday, I give out information about my life." Sebastian replied and Ciel sat down.

"Let's start with the basics, Demons have to follow a law. When we go into a contract we are forbidden to reveal about our past and culture. This just makes sure you humans don't use this against us, forcing us into an unfair contract." Sebastian replied and he looked over at me and turned his chair.

"So, you are telling my past, like a loophole." I say.

"Precisely, The first time I met you was when you were three years old. Your parents took you to the theater to watch a play. That night I just ended a contract or more like a simple deal, with the director. It turns out that the late Earl found out about the disappearance of the director and  seemed suspicious. So after his death was announced, I was spotted and brought into the investigation. You wouldn't have remembered me, my form was quite different from what it was now. I remember, during that time The Earl asked me to come over, to go over the investigation one last time." Sebastian said.

"You knew my father?" Ciel said and Sebastian ignored him.

"There I met Y/n Phantomhive, you were running around the house playing hide and seek with your mother. I ended up bumping into you when you ran through the halls. I couldn't quite say what it was but, I found you interesting. Now, I could say it was because of how innocent you were, I am a demon after all, any once I see light, I want to turn it dark. The next time I met you was in the forest, in was snowing that day. You ran outside to fetch your hat -"

"Were you the bird?" I asked and Sebastian smirked.

"Do you think?" He asked.

"Your not going to say are you?" I asked and he shook his head.

"You, stopped in front of the forest and you looked directly at me. Something seemed to spark within me. I wanted to find out more about you, when I came into the light. You showed no fear and you smiled. I continued to watch over you as time passed and eventually we would talk every week or so. But, alas, your parents did not like the idea and I had to erase your memories. You were drifting too far, our spark was slowly fading away." Sebastian replied.

"But, when did you 'mark' me?" I asked and Sebastian tapped his cheek.

"That, chaton, Is where things become vague. I never 'marked you.' Is all I can really say for right now at least."  Sebastian said.

"What? But, that didn't answer-" I said and Sebastian rubbed my head.

"Please wait." Sebastian replied and looked down at me with his fuschia eyes. The room then slowly went back to normal.

"Y/n are you seriously going to leave it at that?" Ciel asked and I looked over at Sebastian.

"It seems, I have no choice. Whatever he's hiding has to deal with his rules that he has to follow. So I'm guessing you'll never find out Ciel." I replied and he sunk into his chair.
