She hid all of Sunday in her dorm. Thankfully, she met Mimzy yesterday or she probably would have had to starve. Though it really wouldn't be something she wasn't used to (Round of applause for the Dursleys!). Tomorrow would be the really tricky thing. First class of the day was Potions and she's partnered with Barty. No matter how much she tried... she couldn't stop thinking about him. But she must! She needs to focus! Her inner turmoil was interrupted by the sound of the dorm door opening as none other than Lily came waltzing in.

"There you are! Your horrid friends are in the common room kicking up a fuss because they can't get past the sliding stairs! Will you do us all a favor and rid us of their annoying presence!"

Before she could so much as think of a response, Lily turned and walked right back out. "Damn you, Marauders!" She whispered to the air. She slowly made her way out of her dorm, full of annoyance, coming to a stop to see none other than Sirius, James, Remus, and Peter all piled on one another at the bottom of the stairs in a tangle of limbs. After a few minutes of them trying to get upright and several moments of them accidentally elbowing one another in the face, or stepping on another's hand, they finally realized she was standing next to them.

"Ara!" They chorused with breathless, beaming smiles, as if they hadn't been disturbing the peace for everyone.

"I'm told to take my horrid friends and rid the common room of their annoying presence."

"Well, that's just uncalled for, Evans!" Stated Sirius extra loudly, as Lily, who was sitting in a chair nearby, rolled her eyes.

"What is it you boys wanted so badly that you risked turning into human pretzels?"

"Oh, um..." James started before pausing briefly to clear his throat, "We haven't seen you all day and were worried. Plus, thought in case you were interested or something... that you'd like to know that Quidditch tryouts will be this Wednesday."

Dammit! Why do they make it so hard to stay annoyed at them!? She let out a sigh. "Thank you for letting me know. And I am fine, so you mustn't worry."

"Great! So let's go hang out!" Cut in Sirius, swinging his arm over her shoulder and steering her towards the common room exit.

"Wait! What?" She shouted quietly as she was taken by surprise. Which really, she should have seen this coming! James quickly caught up and threw his arm over her other shoulder, sandwiching her between him and Sirius.

"You spent the day yesterday with that snake! So you can spend today with us!"

"I don't—"

"Oh, come on, Ara! We'll have a great time! Please!" Sirius cut in cheerfully before promptly giving her the saddest puppy dog eyes ever, which was joined by James, Remus, and to her displeasure, Peter.

Rolling her eyes, "Fine, but only if you never do that again!"

"No promises!" Beamed Sirius as they resumed walking to wherever they were leading her.

"The Quidditch pitch?" She asked as they finally came to the end of their journey. She wasn't upset with it. She loved Quidditch, but she was curious why they decided to bring her here.

"We thought we'd teach you to fly!" Beamed James. She couldn't help but snort.

"I'm a great flyer, thank you very much!" She stated. Missing the looks exchanged between Remus and Peter from behind her. "Are you? How would you know?" Questioned Sirius with a raised brow.

Right... Amnesia... "I don't—really—but I feel like I'm amazing at it," she said sheepishly. Nice save, Ara! Next, you'll tell them all about how you were the youngest seeker in a century! Bravo!

"Well, only one way to find out," James spoke as he handed her a broom. When the hell did he grab a broom? Did he have that the whole time?

Smiling sheepishly, she hesitantly grabbed the broom and hopped on. Right away she was hit with a wave of nostalgia. Merlin! She really missed flying. It was like the whole world faded away as she took off flying around the pitch. Remembering the adrenaline, the rush, the freedom! She really needed this! It was only when she landed back on the ground that she remembered about the others, especially as they stood there gaping at her.

"I knew it!" James suddenly yelled with a finger pointed towards her.

Why did she suddenly feel like she walked into a trap of some kind...
