Attraction To Affection

Chapter 7: First Official Day

                          NYSA

We all were ready and thus decided to go to college in 5  minutes. We got everything necessary for our first day.

"Remember to take your id cards, everyone." I shouted at them.

Just then Any ran into her room and got out with it hanging in her neck. She and her short term memory loss. She nervously laughed which we deliberately ignored and we quickly got out of the apartment. Vanya locked the door and as you know, its just 5 minutes from here so we decided to take a walk and look around. Suddenly, I saw an icecream stall nearby and let me tell you, I love icecreams, they've been my best friends as long as I can remember. I love a lot of things actually.

"Guys, lets go over there please please, you guys know how much I love icecream, please please" I whined like a 3 year old child infront of them.

"Okay, let's go" Any said excitedly, grabbed my hands and we reached to the stall while jumping in coordination. I bet we looked like country girls from back.

Raina had a little cold so we scolded her to not to get one. She was stern to get one but we promised to bring a big icecream tub once she's fun and she happily nodded. Rest three of us took icecreams. I took Belgian chocolate, Vanya took Chocolate love and Any took crunchy vanilla. We all were so delighted to have our icecreams. I paid because I was the one who insisted, anyways anything for icecream.

Unlike other days, I was so excited to go to college. I don't have a reason for my excitement, I just am.

"Dude, lets go" Anirudh shouted from outside and I rushed to me.

"Yes, yes, lets go" I said with streak excitement.

"Why so excited, bro?" He raised his eyebrow totally amused.

"Nothing serious, its just we're getting late yk" I said looking here and there.

"Yeah, we're getting late." He narrowed his eyes at me and we moved out. I think he knows the reason.

I got my car out because its 20 minutes from our college. Its not like we can't walk but if we do that, we'll be very late and we can't afford that with the record of attendance we have. I drove the car and stopped at the signal. It was still 90 seconds for us to move that's when I saw Her. She looked ravishingly beautiful, so beautiful that I wasn't able to take my eyes off. She was wearing a white dress which reached just two inches above her knees. Her hair are tied up and she's wearing glasses which makes her look sassy. And top of all that, she's eating icecream. She's laughing with her friends we met yesterday and let me tell you again, she's the prettiest of the prettiest girls I've ever set my eyes on not that I have done any but her body language tells me that she's mine. Fuck it, she was mine from the moment I set my eyes on her, from the moment I saw her in lavender and it became my favourite colour, from the moment I felt warmth going away from me when she left and waved a goodbye at me, from the moment she knowingly made me nervous and unknowingly made my silly heart flutter. I won't deny the fact that its her that made me excited for college today, its her who roamed in my head constantly in the previous day, I guess its always been her.

Soon realisation dawned on me, she can't be mine. I can't ruin her like the way I ruined others. I can't do this, there's no harm in being friends but the thought of more than that, I'll always keep it to myself and I'll keep my demons caged like I've for the last 3 years.
