Chapter 42: Reconciliation

I got my internship in a company where I always wanted to have my first experience at. Everyone was so happy and my parents were very proud of me.

It's the month of January and it's a one month internship in a company situation in Noida so I have to go there everyday and come back. It's hectic, I know but it's needed for my later experience in my dad's company.

Second step to CEO.

I came to my workplace by 9. Its a nice tall building and the company's reputation in the market is really good. It has a goodwill and always manages to earn a good profit along with meeting it's financial commitments.

I am under the finance department. My role is to compile periodic reviews and analysis and assist in credit presentations. Its good to be honest because I really enjoy financial stuff.

I sat on my designated table and people started coming to meet the new face in the department. I communicated with them easily because we all had similar interests and I made new friends easily despite my disinterest of becoming friends with new people immediately.

Gotta tease Anirudh, hehe.

My new friends were Jeevika, Manan and Yug and they all were interns like me.

We had similar interests and that fascinated me. We continued the work and because there wasn't much of it on the first day so I left the office by 5 pm.

I reached my apartment back by 7 to see Anirudh already there lying on the couch like he has no life.

I glanced at Nysa and Any and they were doing something in their laptops looking very busy leaving the poor man alone.

"How was the first day?" I asked keeping my bag aside when Nysa and Any spotted me.

"It sucked the life out of me. I don't know how am I even going to handle a big ass company on my own." He exclaimed in disbelief and sat straight making three of us chuckle and frown at the same time.

"In the same way you got this great internship with the help of your brain." I said walking to Nysa.

"How was your day?" She asked with an excited smile and I immediately took her in a hug.

"It was good." I said against her neck which made her chuckle and made some people clear their throat.

I broke the hug and glanced at Any and Anirudh sitting closely looking at us like we did the most forbidden thing.

"What?" Nysa asked keeping her hands on her waist.

"Why do you guys are always doing this stuff in front of people like just why? Get a room." Anirudh asked and I let out a scoff.

"I didn't say that when you kissed Any just as you came like you were kissing her for the last time." Nysa said sassily making him chuckle and he swiftly pulled Any close to him.

"Gross! Now you guys get a room." I said pulling Nysa with me.

"Itna jaldi nhi socha tha maine inka. Bahut zyaada karta hai yeh Anirudh, bata rahi hoon. Kisi din I'll punch his face hard and even Any would laugh on his shapeless face." Nysa said annoyingly and I let out a chuckle at her statement.

"Anyway, leave that, how is my Nysa?" I asked and she smiled sitting beside me on the bed.

"I am very good. Today, we both got this another project to complete and it's our daily thing now. We're getting projects like literally everyday and the deadline is killing both of us but then again, it is what it is." She exclaimed tieing her hair in a rubber band.
