Chapter 20: The Dead Body.

"Blake seriously, are you coming down or do i have to come up and drag your arșe down myself?" Alexandra said, into the phone letting out an irritated sigh, when once again silence greeted her from the other side. She was waiting for him outside his house, all ready in her running clothes, a black sports bra, a blue loose tank top, black yoga pants and a pair of neon blue Nike's. Blake as usual was being a lazy arșe, She had no idea how he got accepted into the football team with the level of laziness that he possessed. "Blake fuckıng Foster". She yelled, to wake him up, She knew he fell asleep again while on the phone. She would usually run alone, but she just didn't feel like going alone today and decided to ask Blake to come along with her, something she was regretting immensely right now.

"Stop shouting, I'm coming". He grumbled, hanging up the phone and got out of the bed, cursing under his breath rather loudly and fell face first on the floor as soon as he stood up, the blue and white sheets were all tangled around his feet. He groaned at the impact and didn't even try to get up, although the floor was cold, but he was too sleepy and lazy to even try.

"Honey, are you okay?!" He heard his mother and then her footfalls, that stopped at the threshold of his room as his bedroom door was pushed open.

"Yeah mom, I'm fine. Why you up so early?" He asked frowning, sitting up, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes and turning to face the door,  where his mother stood all dressed up in her work clothes, a black knee length skirt, a white silk button up blouse, a black blazer with a pair of black heels, her hair in an elegant bun atop her head, with light make up on her face.

"I'm always up early". She said, in confusion and the both of them heard the front door open and slam shut, making Blake curse, causing his mother to scowl at him.

"What the fu--Oh hey, Lydia". She quickly mended her statement and greeted his mother, when she saw her standing there and then turned her attention to Blake on the floor. "Why are you not ready? Hurry up!". She said, glaring at him, making him sigh and get up off the floor before walking towards the bathroom.

"No wonder he is up so early". Lydia mumbled, under her breath with a light amused chuckle. "How are you doing, sweetheart? It's been a while since you visited". She asked, turning to face Alexandra, a warm motherly smile gracing her features.

"I'm good, just been a little busy with school and stuff, How about you?". Lydia Foster was one of the kindest person, Alexandra has ever encountered, She was more of a mother to Alexandra, than her own and one of the strongest woman she knew, Blake's father had left the both of them, when Blake was only nine and since then it had been just the two of them, though they received the news of his death two years ago due to drug overdose. She works as an editor at the local magazine.

"I'm good too, honey. I would love to have a chat with you, but i'm running a bit late, I have to pick up, Ella on the way". She excused, looking at her wrist watch, Ella was her best friend, they've been together since high school. "Hey, why don't you join us for dinner tonight? We can catch up and all". She added, thoughtfully.

"If you're making Lasagna, I'm in". Alexandra replied, a small smile on her face.

"Sure, I have to go, now. See you tonight, honey. Bye".

"Bye".

A few minutes after she left, Blake got out of the bathroom, finally all ready for their run, in a blue tank top,  gray basketball shorts and was in the process of tying his black and white Nike's, the both of them made their way out of his house and towards the track after he was done.
