Chapter 25: Curiosity Killed The Cat.

After spending almost the whole day with Leo, Alexandra decided to go pay a visit to Blake, it was 8:00 PM and both the siblings already had had supper and were currently watching a movie in their theater room, their parents as usual were on another business trip.

Leo made sure to squeeze out every little detail about the incident out of her, He also asked a few 'unusual' questions like her father had, which was really frustrating, because he didn't explain when she asked why he was asking such bizarre questions and he also seemed very curious about her new 'friend', which she found a bit strange, because Leo never really cared who she hung out with, until or unless they weren't being troublesome, He was fine.

She got up from the blue bean bag she was seated on, adjusting the loose black sweater she was wearing and picking up her phone and wallet from where they were placed, beside the bean bag on the floor and securing them in her jeans pockets.

"Where are you going?". Leo asked, when he noticed his sister about to walk out of the theater room.

"To Blake's". She replied, opening the door and getting out. Leo followed suit, pausing the movie.

"I'll drop you off". He offered, not wanting her to go out alone at this hour, it was already dark outside.

"No, it's okay. I want to take a walk". She said, putting on her shoes and grabbing her coat, the weather was getting colder day by day, but she loved it.

"Are you sure?". He asked, since he saw that arsehole back at school, He felt like guarding her at all times, He was actually considering, taking a break from his studies and staying here for a while, until he was sure that the bastard was gone.

"Yeah, it's fine". She answered, before kissing him on the cheek and making her way out of the mansion.

Leo went back to the theater room and resumed watching the movie, but he couldn't concentrate, He was restless, thinking about his sister, that mutt and all those gruesome memories from years ago, the room seemed to be suffocating him so, He got out of the room and went out of the kitchen door towards the backyard and eventually the woods, before shifting into his giant gray-ish black wolf and running off deeper into the woods inhumanely fast to blow off some steam.

She reached her best friends house and rung the doorbell, waiting for someone to open the door, although she had the key, She could just walk in, but it didn't feel right to do so.

A moment later, Lydia opened the door and attempted to smile at Alexandra. Key word attempted.

She looked exhausted, her eyes were red and puffy, her cheek bones were more prominent then usual, her complexion pale, as soon as Alexandra saw her, She moved forward and enveloped her in a comforting hug and felt a few tears fall down her cheeks and onto her neck, She rubbed her back comfortingly before pulling back.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Come on in". She said, wiping her tears and moving aside so, She could walk in. The both of them made their way towards the living room and took a seat beside each other on the couch.

"How you holding up?". Alexandra asked, after a few moments of silence passed.

"I still can't believe it". Lydia replied, sniffing, a single tear streaked down her cheek.

"Where's Blake?". She asked, hoping to divert the topic to something else, She sucked at comforting people, She never knew what to say and what not to say, it always got so awkward.
