Chapter 28: Unexpected Revelations.

"What the fuck was that?!". Blake exclaimed, as soon as the four of them turned the corner and started walking down the hallway opposite to where Ace just went.

"What?" Alexandra said, innocently pretending she didn't know what he was referring to and hoping he would buy it but, she knew he didn't, as he glared at her the next second knowing full well what was she trying to do.

"Don't give me that shīt. Explain, why the hell did I just experience the awkwardest lunch of my life, when I'm not even proposing anyone anytime soon?" He said, looking at her expectantly. Walking between Danaya and Alexandra with Julia behind them, a frown on her face lost in the thousands thoughts that were swirling through her head.

"Why would you have an awkward lunch, before proposing someone?" Danaya questioned, confusion etched on her sharp features, her striking blue eyes focused on him.

"Because it's going to be with her parents, where I ask them permission to do it. Obviously, it's going to be awkward, dumbo!" He interpreted, making the three girls roll their eyes, simultaneously. "Now, shut up". He said, addressing Danaya before turning towards Alexandra. "And you, start talking".

"We're getting late for class. My house after school, I'll tell you there". She said and before anyone could say anything, She hurriedly entered the classroom beside her, indicating the end of the conversation.

"Bítch".

"I heard that". Alexandra said, popping her head out the door for a moment before going back in.

"You were meant too". Blake yelled after her.

Damién jumped back in the empty classroom--the one where he almost lost control in front of his supposed human mate the other day--through the window, He picked up his clothes from the desk beside the window, donning them before picking up his backpack taking a deep breath and walking out of there towards the parking lot.

He missed half of the school day again, though that wasn't what he was worried about, he was worried about how long it would take before he finally lost all of his self control and burst into the giant beast that he is in front of everyone, including his mate and scaring her off for good.

She was testing him unknowingly so, and it was proving hard for him to not just come out clean about the whole thing but, he knew if he did that the little possibility that is present of them being even friends in the future would vanish and there would be nothing left so, he knew he had to be patient.

But, it was hard. Especially when that filthy mutt was around, making him want to rip him into shards, limb by limb slowly. Oh, how satisfying it would be to see his body bathed in the crimson liquid flowing out of his own veins.

"Yo, príck. Did you go to memorize the way to hell again?" He heard his best friend call out from behind him and he looked over his shoulder briefly before turning to face the front again, not saying anything.

"Aw honey, what's wrong?" Aiden said, now walking beside him, his hand resting on his shoulder. His dark brown hair messed up a top his head, his brown eyes as always gleaming with mischief focused on Damién, a pout on his full pink lips.

"Fuck off". Damién said, shrugging his hand off his shoulder.

"Excuse me, watch you words around me, I'm not good at tolerating arséholes like you". He said sassily, a hand on his hip, while he pretended to flick his hair off with the other.
