By the time I come out, the girls were laughing in my room.
"Camari... what's this?" Tori says holding up my blue lingerie outfit. My eyes bulge and I go over to her.
"Why are you going through my things?" I said trying to take it from her and she throws it to Nia. "Guys come on"
"You definitely trying to get some dick tonight" Tori laughs and Nia joins her. I couldn't even help it and laugh with them.
"Mmm... I didn't want to hear that" someone says and we look over to see Trevor. I hold onto my towel tight as he walks in. "Here..." he says handing Tori a bag.
"Perfect, thanks babe" she says taking the duffel bag. He turns around then walks out the room. I watch him leave and he glances back before heading back downstairs.
"Is this what you're wearing for Ronnie tonight?" Nia ask and I look at her.
"No. I'm not" I said. I had already gave Desi my red lingerie outfit that she stuffed in our overnight bag for the Hilton tonight.
"She's going to be butt ass naked for him Nia, like come on" Tori says and they continue to laugh.
"Alright... are you guys doing my make-up or what?" I said starting to get annoyed.
"Right...come" Nia says throwing the lingerie on my bed and grabs my hand and sits me down by my vanity. Tori plays music on her phone and the girls start to decorate my face. Once my make-up was finished and my hair was curled, I went to put on my dress. "Oh wow" Nia says staring at me.
"Queen" Tori says and we laugh. I turn to look at myself in the mirror. I was even stunned by the way I look. I never wear this much make-up. I never even do eye-shadow. My hair was big and curly just how I like it and the dress... the dress was the best choice I made in my life.
"You like it?" Nia says coming behind me.
"I love it. Thank you guys" I said hugging them.
"Do me a huge favor and go out the window. I don't want Trevor to see you and fall in-love because you're beautiful" Tori laughs. I fake laugh then turn to look at myself in the mirror. If only.
"GIRLS? RONNIE IS HERE" I hear my mom yell from downstairs. Oh boy.
"We will be downstairs when you're ready" Nia says and Tori smacks my ass and they turn around to leave. Today was supposed to be so special. I am supposed to be excited and happy and thrilled about going to Prom with this boy I've had a crush on my entire life. But all I could do is send a fake smile and think about Trevor in the back of my mind.
I turn around to leave my bedroom and made my way down the steps. It was extremely loud downstairs and that only lead me to believe that Desi and Trey were here too. I took a deep breath as I became visible to everyone waiting in the living room.
"Oh wow..." I hear Ronnie and I look over and smile at him.
"Camari! You look so beautiful honey" my mom said coming up to me and I smile at her.
"Thanks mom" I said.
"Beautiful" my dad says coming up to hug me. "I got you some pepper spray for tonight" he whispers in my ear and I laugh.
"Thank you" I said and although I hear Desi scream. I couldn't help but to look over at Trevor. He was staring at me and I couldn't help but smile then look at Desi.
"I have the hottest best friend... in the world" she says circling me.
"You look amazing Desi" I said and she grabs my hand.
"I hope tonight will be the best night of your life" she says to me and I roll my eyes. "I don't mean it that way. I mean it as in... you deserve everything"
"You been drinking?"
"Yea..." she says and we laugh.
"Time for pictures!" my mom says. I look over at Ronnie and he looks me up and down.
"Wow" he says and I smile at him.
"Look at you" I said staring at his vest matching the color of my dress. "You look so good"
"And you look beautiful" he says and I smile stepping up to kiss him. I hear a camera go off and I look over to see my mom snapping photos. I laugh and Ronnie and I pose as photos are taken. I take some with Desi and we all take some as a group.
"Alright... I think we all know who really looks good right now" Breenan says stepping in front of the camera. We all laugh and I roll my eyes. "Time for pics with me and Trev" he says wrapping his arm around me.
