and so it's revealed

Draco and Foxfire sat on the couch, as he stared down at his hands. The two couldn't deny it now, that their feelings were pure. He couldn't understand how she could kiss him after he showed her what he is. That had to have meant something. She knew him sneaking around was for something more than just being a creepy bloke, as Ron would say.

He worked for Voldemort. And it terrified her, but Draco himself, didn't. The two had been sneaking around for the past 4 or so months now, and she felt like she had known him her whole life. "I want you to know that I didn't want to be what I now am." He finally spoke up as she looked over to him. "I had to. For the sake of my family." He began to let her in. But she already figured that out. That cold exterior was only a mask to hide the good he had within him. And she didn't blame him for the choices he had to make, she blamed his father. Lucius Malfoy, the reason behind everything. "Foxfire, I have to do something terrible soon." He finally said to her. "And it's something you may never be able to forgive." He shook his head, as she reached forward, grasping onto his hand, and he looked over to her.

"Draco, I know whatever you are having to do, isn't your fault. And I know you don't want to, right?" She asked as he proceeded to nod, agreeing. "Look, I wont make you tell me anything you aren't comfortable with. All I ask is for you to be honest of your feelings. And I know that you have no control over your business with," she stopped herself before continuing, trying to seem confident, "the dark lord." She assured him, now attempting to also be as comforting as possible, while also knowing that Kat was right. That Kat told her she loved fixing damaged people. And maybe that was what she was doing now, but her intentions with Draco were real. The feelings she felt, were real. And her heart that skipped a beat every time she saw him, was real. She didn't know it yet, but she was falling in love with Draco Malfoy.

"You're going to regret saying all of this." He laughed, sadly, wiping his eye, embarrassed that he was seen crying yet again. Because that was just his ego clouding his mind.

"Maybe. But right now I don't." She smiled, as she leaned over, pulling him into a tight embrace within her arms. "So I'm going to ask you once more." She continued as she pulled back. "What do you want this to be?"

Kat Harris, on the other hand, found herself walking through the corridors on her way to the library. She had to drop off a few books, as they were of no use to her anymore. It was morning, meaning Foxfire had never returned from her time with Fred. So Kat assumed maybe the two got along more than she thought they would.

Whatever it was, Kat was trying her best not to overreact about the situation. It wasn't her business, she kept telling herself. Foxfire can have her own life and date whoever she would like, and that was just not her place to step in, she kept repeating in her head. As she continued walking, she heard a group of kids talking and joking loudly, at first glance she didn't really notice anything, until she double checked and spotted Fred with George and a few other Gryffindors. But no sight of Foxfire. "Fred!" She called out, as Fred looked to her and left his group of friends for a moment.

"Hey, Kitty Kat, what's up?" He asked with a large grin.

"Where's Fox?" She proceeded to ask, curiously.

"Uh, I'm not sure?" He questioned, wondering why Kat would think Foxfire was with him. "Have you checked with Harry and them?"

"No, I figured I'd ask you since she didn't come back to the room last night after you guys hung out." She told him, confused, as he himself was now confused just as much.

"I dont know who said I was with Foxfire, but I haven't seen her. I was with George all night." He shrugged, both wondering why Foxfire would feel the need to lie.

"Oh, alright. Thanks Fred." Kat responded, feeling betrayed that her best friend lied to her, so she continued to walk away, deciding to return back to her room, not caring about the books anymore.

As Foxfire left the room of requirement, Draco followed after her. He agreed to wait on public affection until Foxfire informed her friends, as she didn't want them to hear it from someone else. As she walked the opposite way from Draco, a voice called out to her, and she turned to see Luna, standing from her seated position. "Hey, Luna." Foxfire greeted.

"Hello, Foxfire." Luna smiled, staring behind her to see Draco walking away in the distance, but knowing it was none of her business, she looked back to Foxfire. "Are you headed to the infirmary?" She continued to ask, causing Foxfire to turn her head, not understanding. Was she assuming that she needed to go to the infirmary because she saw her with Draco and just assumed she must have gone crazy or bumped her head?

"Why would I be?" Foxfire asked.

"Oh! You haven't heard! Ron is there." Luna informed her as Foxfire felt her feet immediately begin to run to him. As she rushed down to the infirmary, she couldn't help but wonder what had happened. She knew the burrow had been burnt down by death eaters, and she knew he was in not the best state of mind, but how could he be there? As she approached, she walked to Ron's bed, seeing as he was really out of it. Hermione and Harry sat there, by his side, scared.

"What happened?" Foxfire asked, out of breath. "Is he okay?"

"He'll be alright." Harry informed her. "But he was poisoned."

"What? Who would want to poison him?" Foxfire asked, sitting on the end of the bed. Before Harry could answer, Dumbledore, Snape, McGonagall and Slughorn all came walking in.

"This appears to be a gift, Horace." Dumbledore looked to Slughorn, holding a bottle that had been wrapped somewhat. The same bottle that poisoned Ron. "Do you remember who gave you this bottle?" He continued on. "Which by the way, possesses remarkably subtle hints of licorice and cherry, polluted with poison."

"Actually, I had intended to give it as a gift, to you, Headmaster." He seemed disappointed in himself. This caused Foxfire to perk up, wondering who would have done something like this.

"Where is he?" An annoying voice echoed throughout the infirmary, breaking Foxfire's train of thoughts. "Where's my won-won?" Lavender pushed through the professors and scooted Foxfire off the bed, as she stood to her feet, glaring at the Ron-obsessed girl, and then looking toward Snape. "Has he been asking for me?" She cried.

"He hasn't really said a word, actually." Foxfire scoffed, standing to the side, crossing her arms out of annoyance.

"What is she doing here?" Lavender ignored Foxfire and looked to Hermione.

"Well, this is appropriate to do in front of professors." Foxfire muttered, sarcastically.

"I might ask you the same thing!" Hermione stood from Ron's side, furious.

"I happen to be his girlfriend!" Lavender stepped forward, as Harry and Foxfire stared at one another, uncomfortably.

"I happen to be his-," Hermione stopped herself. "Friend."

"That made me laugh." Lavender said, with absolutely no laughter. "You two haven't spoken in weeks. But suddenly he's all interesting so you want to make up with him now." She crossed her arms.

"He's been poisoned, you daft dimbo!" Hermione scoffed. Foxfire grew intrigued, as this was a little bit funny in her mind, because everyone really didn't like Lavender. Ron suddenly began to make some groaning noises, as they all turned to him.

"Ah, see, he senses my presence." Lavender leaned forward to him. But before he could really come to consciousness, he began to utter one word. That word being, Hermione. Lavender stood up, and rushed out of the room in tears. Foxfire couldn't help but chuckle slightly, especially as she looked to Snapes clear discomfort of the whole situation.

"Oh to be young and in love." Dumbledore stated, simply. "Well, come on everybody. Mister Weasley is well attended to." Dumbledore insisted, leading the lot of people out of the room.

Foxfire walked back to the Hufflepuff common room, making her way up to her room, where Kat waited impatiently on her bed. As she opened the door, she noticed Kat's furious expression plastered on her face. "Where the hell have you been all night?"
