At the lunch table:-
Viren, Shorvari and Trisha are seen having lunch silently on the dining table.
Viren: Shorvari....zara thodi aur daal do na....
Shorvari nods and passes him a bowl of daal. While passing the bowl to Viren, she notices Trisha's dull mood. She wasn't even eating properly, just playing with the rice in deep thoughts.
Shorvari: Kya ho gya Trisha?? Kin khayalo mein khoyi huyi ho??
Trisha: (coming out of her strand of thoughts and behaving normally) Ku....Kuch nhi maa.....(tries to divert the topic) main toh bass.....main bass un dino ko yaad kar rhi thi jab Naira di bhi yahan baithke humare saath khana khati thi.....unki shaadi se pehle.....jab hum sab saath rehte thay......I'm missing those old days very much....!!
Viren and Shorvari smile at her and nod agreeing to Trisha. They continue eating their lunch in silence when Shorvari begins to speak.
Shorvari: Aaj kitna accha lag rha hai na?? Sab saath mein baithe hain khane dining table pe....warna Naira ki shaadi ke baad toh hum koi bhi cheez saath mein karna bhool hi gye thay....(to Trisha) tujhe tere room mein khana chahiye hota tha....aur tere papa ko TV ke paas....Naira theek sabki aadat sudharke rakhti thi....ab uske jaane ke baad sab bigad gye hain.....!!(sighs in defeat)
Viren: (chuckles) Aaj toh humari Trisha ne tajjub wali baat kardi ek dum....tujhe aaj saath mein baithke khane ka mann kese kiya beta??
Trisha: "Mann kese kiya" matlab?? Bass....(shrugs her shoulders) ainvayi...!! Aur main toh bolti hoon humein har time aise saath mein baithke khana chhaiye.....Di yahan pe nhi hain toh kya Hua?? Unki choti behena toh hai na....main sabki aadat sudharke rakhugi....!!
Shorvari(surprised and impressed): Arrey waah.....sahi baat hai....lekin beta tu toh sudhar jaa pehle.....(raises her eyebrow and asks suspiciously) aaj college se itni jaldi kese aa gyi tum?? Evening lectures ka kya Hua??
Trisha: (finding an excuse) Arrey woh.....woh aaj half day hai maa (chuckles nervously)
Shorvari(suspiciously): Half day hai ya bunk maara hai aapne madam?!
Trisha's eyes go wide at Shorvari's correct assumption while here Viren giggles silently seeing his daughter's helpless state.
Trisha: (lowers her gaze and starts speaking) Woh maa....evening ke lectures bhaut boring hote hain.....especially accounting wala lecture.....mujhe class mein bhaut neend aati hai toh main so jati hoon aur fir professor mujhe class se bahar nikal dete hain toh isliye socha sabke saamne zaleel hone se accha hai ki main ghar aakar hi so jau....aap tension mat lo meri friend meri proxy laga degi....aur maa sirf main hi bunk nhi maar rhi hoon, baaki log bhi hain mere saath....so chill...!!
