"Morning, Cat," called Kronk as he entered Engineering.

"Greetings, Kronk," Cat called as she continued to monitor the ship.

"Are we all set to leave the station today?" asked Kronk. He checked the engine out of habit, to see how it had fared over night.

"Yes, Karr set in our course yesterday, and Jac had already notified the station that we will be departing today," replied Cat.

"All right. Notify the station that we are departing," said Kronk. He got the engine ready for undocking.

Cat put a call into the station, letting them know of the Valdiar Star's wishes to depart. The whole while she monitored all the transmissions from the ship and the station. There it is, Cat thought. Just as Dam expected. Cat recorded the transmission from the station to an unknown ship stating the Valdiar Star was leaving the station.

"Go ahead. Permission granted," came the station's computer.

"I thank you," Cat said then notified Kronk. "Station has been notified and we have received clearance."

The hanger's big door opened and the bay decompressed. "Everything is clear. Go ahead and undock," said the station's computer.

"Traffic is clear. We are clear to leave," said Cat. She was still monitoring all outgoing transmissions from the station

"Let's go home," said Kronk. He set the engine up to full power. The ship left the station, it swung around an artificial gravity producing satellite and released. They were on their way home.

As soon as the ship left all of the artificial gravity another message was sent from the station to the unknown ship. It stated the Valdiar Star was clear of the station. "Interesting," said Cat. She left Kronk to his engine.
