Amanda's POV
As Simon and I drive to the beach we decide we are going to stop by the hospital to see Aria. We walk into the hospital and are led back to Aria who has been taken off of her feeding tube but still on a breathing machine.
"May I please hold her?" I ask the nurse beside me. She nods and takes Aria out of her bed. She rest her in my arms, adjusting her breathing tube. I sit in the rocking chair provided and rock her slowly.
"She's so beautiful." Simon sighs, rubbing the top of her head.
"That she is." I sigh and kiss her soft head.
"Would you like to hold her while I go find out when she can come home?" I ask. He nods quickly and switches places with me. I walk out of the room and walk up to the desk.
"Excuse me but is Aria's Doctor around?" I ask young lady.
"Yes, let me just page him." she smiles.
"No need, I'm right here." I hear a man say. I spin around and see someone I never expected.
"L-Leroy." I gasp and back away a bit. He grabs my finger tips and pulls me aside.
"Listen I'm really sorry okay. It's really complicated. I'm here to take care of your child and that's it." he sighs.
"Fine, when the hell will I have my daughter back?" I ask, shaking.
"It should be with in a month. One of her lungs collapsed so it's been really hard to fix." he sighs. I nod and then walk away. As I get closer I hear Simon singing to Aria.
