I opened my eyes to the blinding white of the temple. Blinking, I pushed myself up from the ground.
How did I get here? I knew where I was, I had been here twice before.
I thought that I had left this place... I shook my head, trying to remember what exactly had happened.
I shuddered, slowly remembering what had happened and why I had done it.
Aphmau. A picture of her burned into my mind. Her long black hair glowing in the sunlight, her soft amber eyes staring into my soul. I could hear her gentle laugh and I could feel her soft touch.
I have to get back to her.
