Fabian and Alfie spent a while ambling down the long corridor with only their flashlights and eachother to provide comfort. They finally mad it into a large round room with small mirrors just big enough to reflect their heads, circling them. A wall slid closed behind them, revealing another mirror. Fabian looked back and forth between mirrors, trying to figure out the puzzle.

"Mirrors?" Alfie asked. "Reflections? Glass? Fabian, what does this mean?"

"Give me time."

A booming voice echoed around the room:

"Welcome all to the Reflections Arena where you never know exactly what'll happen when you confront yourself. Enjoy."

The voice faded away with laughter-evil laughter. Alfie and Fabian kept looking around, mirror to mirror, only seeing normal reflections. Eventually, after a feeling of hopelessness, something happened to them individually. The space around Fabian turned black and empty with him facing himself. It seemed too real to be facing himself, right there, without a mirror.

"Fabian," his reflection said. Since there was no response, his reflection continued, "Don't I have something planned for you...Just one quick question and you'll be on your way-Mara or Nina?"

"What?"

"Mara or Nina?"

"I-I don't have to answer this."

"You're right...if you have a death wish."

"Nina, I guess."

"I need an absolute answer."

"Nina."

It faded back to the scenery of the the room with surrounding mirrors. Fabian didn't know why, but it felt as if some part of him had left him-abandoned him, but he didn't know what.

Meanwhile, when Alfie's surroundings faded to a pitch black area, standing in front of him was Willow, smiling back. Suddenly, her smile turned into tears, her mascara smearing on her face. She was instantly replaced by another person standing there. Eddie. He had on a sly smile for some reason, but soon enough, the scenery faded back for Alfie too.

A door opened up across the room, and off the two went.

"What was yours?" Alfie asked.

"What?" Fabian asked. "Oh. I just had to choose between Mara and Nina."

"And?"

"I chose Nina...How bout you?"

"I saw Willow, then she started crying, and then she was replaced by Eddie who had a creepy, cunning smile."

"Seriously?"

Alfie nodded. They continued down another long corridor, drowned in silence, the only sounds being the patter of their feet.
