Going Out

In the morning, Nina, Patricia, Eddie, and Willow gathered in Nina's room.

"You guys ready?" Nina asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be," Patricia replied.

They headed out. Mara was heading downstairs around the same time, right ahead of them, but then she immediately jumped back behind the corner before walking down.

"Should we ask what's wrong?" Eddie questioned as they stopped.

"Mick's down there!" Mara whisper-yelled.

"And?" Patricia asked.

"And we kind of-maybe kissed on the date."

"Guys, remember," Willow reminded. "A-N-U-B-I-S," she spelled out as if Mara couldn't understand.

"You guys are going to Anubis house? What about the rest of Sibuna?"

"Just, don't tell anyone, please," Nina spoke. "Leave it to us."

"But I am the Chosen One, remember?"

"I think we have enough supernatural people to be with us right now, so, we'll just go," Eddie told her.

They slipped past and left the summer house.

Mara sighed and made her way to KT's room. Amber was in there with KT nurturing her. Amber didn't look so happy, and Mara assumed something was wrong.

"Did I miss something?" Mara asked, sitting beside them on the bed.

"Amber still has feelings for Alfie," KT explained. They-well she kissed him, but he's still with Willow, of course."

"Oh, I'm so sorry," Mara nurtured Amber as well.

"So, what's up with you?" KT questioned towards Mara.

"Mick. I think I still have feelings for him."

"You guys dated? He doesn't come across as your type."

"Yeah, well we fell in love before, so I don't know. But we kissed last night."

"I thought that date was just a decoy, a distraction," KT replied.

"Hello, heartbroken girl right here," Amber pointed to herself. "Can I at least get some attention?"

"Amber, just a moment," KT responded.

"I don't know how or why; it just happened," Mara continued. "And now I'm conflicted because I almost kissed Fabian the other night, so I don't know what to do."

"Boys are trash. I'm never falling in love again," Amber complained.

"Amber," KT groaned.

"I feel like I can't show my face to either of them now," Mara frowned.

"I think what we need is just a girl's day out," KT stood up. "I know we're at a cool summer house and all, but let's get out and forget about the boys for once. Let's do something just for us."

"I can do that," Mara stood as well.

Amber was still slouched against the wall, but a smile slowly curled on her face and she was soon in as well.

"Let's get ready," KT grinned.

Alfie entered Fabian's room without a knock. Fabian was up researching still, trying to find something new or see if there was something he missed. Why would an old Egyptian song like this be on the Internet anyway?

Fabian almost slammed down his computer onto the floor, but didn't because it was valuable.

"Whoa, dude, what's got you all worked up?" Alfie asked, sitting in the desk chair.

"I can't find the song for this stupid flute." Fabian picked up the flute and dropped it.

Alfie closed the door and sat back down.

"Why?" is all Fabian asked.

"We don't want the wrong person seeing that, and by the wrong person, I mean Set," Alfie whispered.

"Good thinking," Fabian complimented. He leaned back and shut his eyes. "I just need to figure it out."

"Well, maybe the answer is written between the clues. So we have notes to a woman describing possession by Set, as well as photographs of that woman, and the flute itself...Does anything come to mind?"

Fabian stared at Alfie. "Oh my god, Alfie you're a genius! If only I tried looking at all these clues, the answer was right here all along," Fabian gasped sarcastically.

"Sorry," Alfie muttered.

Fabian rubbed between his eyes. "The only thing I can think of no is going somewhere that might have old tunes that were picked up. Maybe if the tune was passed down late enough to the time where someone could record it, whether it be tape or music notes, then it could be located somewhere old."

"A museum? That place is filled with a bunch of old stuff, especially the ancient Egyptian museum."

"That'll be our first resort. Freshen up Alfie; we're going on an adventure."

"Well, it's not much of an adventure, so-"

"-get ready," Fabian moaned.

"Right." Alfie left.

Eddie, Patricia, Nina, and Willow stopped for a brief moment in front of Anubis house, the place where most of them met. The place that held so much history for them and from ancient Egypt.

"Good memories, huh?" Eddie admired.

"Not all of them," Patricia rolled her eyes. She went to the lock and picked it with a hair pin.
