House of Anubis: Reunion

Carnival

I'd just like to let everyone know, this chapter will have a little mystery of its own, and it may run into the next chapter, but it doesn't have anything to do with the overall mystery taking place. So, this doesn't involve the whole issue with Set or anything, but it's just a little something of its own.

KT called everyone to the main part of the house on the morning of July 5th. The girls came downstairs, and the boys came out their rooms.

"I think before the whole battle thing happens and Set is unleashed, that we all do something fun together. You know, just in case we die-which I highly doubt, but could happen," she explained.

"What do you have in mind?" Patricia asked.

"I did my research, and I found out there's a carnival downtown. We should all go."

"Yeah, not really my thing," Patricia complained. "Screaming kids running around, too many people trying to sell you stuff, and cotton candy. Man, I hate cotton candy."

"How does someone-Nevermind. But we're all going, so get ready and report back downstairs so we can all go, alright?"

Basically everyone mumbled 'fine' or 'alright' and began getting ready. When they were ready, they split up into different cars parked outside and drove to the carnival. When they got out and entered through the entrance, they were welcomed by streamers, booths, happy families, and food.

"Oh, the food smells so good," Alfie nearly drooled. "Someone come with me. I'm trying every food item they've got here."

"That sounds like it could be a challenge," Eddie grinned.

Patricia went to Eddie and slipped her arm in his. "But you're not doing that because you're hanging out with me." She pulled Eddie with her.

"Well, I'll do the challenge," Mick smiled. "You know, since I can beat you."

"Oh, you can beat me?" Alfie asked. "It's on. The winner is the person who can eat the most foods. Loser has to ride the super drop, even after all the food they eat."

Mick and Alfie shook hands and made their way to the first booth.

"Patricia, Eddie, Mick, and Alfie are all out there already. What shall we do?" Fabian turned to the others.

"I'm going to find the animals. I want to pet all of them!" Willow raced away.

"Amber? Mara? Joy? You wanna do something?" KT asked.

Amber and Mara agreed and they left.

Nina and Fabian looked at eachother.

"Just us," Nina laughed a little.

"Would you fancy accompanying me for a stroll, Nina Martin?" Fabian questioned.

"Yes, I would fancy that, Fabian Rutter," Nina replied in her best English accent.

Mick and Alfie both had a corn dog in hand after eating many foods from many other booths. They were taking huge bites in order to finish them.

"Ready to give up?" Alfie challenged with a full mouth.

"Not even close," Mick retaliated.

After corn dogs, they moved on to the churros. And after churros, they ran into the funnel cake stand.

"Ok, each of us have to eat an entire funnel cake," Alfie declared.

They each got an entire funnel cake and sat down at a nearby table. They both began stuffing their mouths, not even using the forks that were given to them.
