Darius woke to the sound of sniffling. He rolled over to see Raven standing there with puffy eyes in his father's t-shirt. His bony little shoulder kept falling out and overall the kid look miserable.

"What's wrong?"

"I'll never be a werewolf again. Daven said I'm stuck like this." The tears started to fall.

Darius picked the human boy up and sat him on his lap. "That's not true. Tomorrow we'll try again. You just need to learn to draw that energy back in, and you'll change back. You'll be my cute werewolf pup before you know it."

Raven fell into his father's chest and let out a shaky breath. "It's cold."

The dominant wrapped his arms around his son.

"I don't like being human."

"Me either." With a sigh, Darius cleared his son's eyes. "I'll make you a deal. I'll stay in human form until you figure out how to change back. Alright?"

Raven smiled and hugged his father. "I love you, daddy."

Darius rested his head against his son's. "I love you too." Putting the pup in the middle of the bed, he stood and found some shorts. After shifting, he put them on and climbed under the covers. He held the blankets up for Raven. The boy shimmed down under them and curled up in a ball. Storm rolled over and smiled at the pair.

"It's cold," stated Darius. "Human aren't meant for the mountains. I can't have him freeze to death." He pulled the blankets up to Raven's chin.

"It's May, Darius."

He shrugged. "Frigid spring air, we better get some more blankets."

Shaking her head, she chuckled and laid back down. "Goofball. Goodnight."

Raven let out a deep breath, already fast asleep.

Darius leaned down and kissed the boy's forehead. "Goodnight."

"Raven got so scared he had to sleep with my mom and dad," laughed Daven to Archer.

"Really?"

"Yeah, he can't change back. He's stuck as a human."

The white haired boy frowned and tugged on the bottom of his shirt.

"He's going to be stuck like that forever," breathed Daven with his hands on his hips. "He's too scared to change back."

"I am not!" Raven stuck his tongue out at his brother. "I'm going to learn. Daddy said so."

Daven gave a look to his brother that said he clearly wasn't convinced. Raven's eyes started to burn. Why did his twin have to be so mean?

"I'm telling Daddy."

Daven rolled his eyes. "He's such a baby."

"I am not." Raven stomped his foot. "I'm not a baby."

"You're the youngest."

"That's not true. Archer's younger. Saigon's younger. I'm not the youngest."

"They're dominants," stated the older twin. "Archer's already as tall as you."

The tears hit, and he ran down to the hall to their room. His parents were getting ready to leave for the party. He hurried over to his mother who was doing her hair. He climbed into her lap and sob into her shirt.

"What's wrong, Ravy?" She rubbed her son's back.

"Daven said I'm a baby, and I'll be a human forever."
