Jesse sat on his bed and stared at the empty one across from him in his dorm room. He really missed Raven. Who was going to listen to all his engagement whoas? He had no one to tease about taking forever in the bathroom? Who was going to yell at him for swearing or making a dirty joke? He wanted his roommate back. This was going to be a long year.

There was a knock on the door. Jesse was too busy drowning in self-pity to be bothered with it. Whoever it was went away, but soon after, the bathroom door opened.

Liam stood there. "I knew you were in here. Didn't you hear me knock?"

"Yep." Jesse stared at the ceiling.

"You're acting like someone died." Liam sat on Raven's bed.

"Raven left me all alone in this hellhole."

Liam rolled his eyes. "Thanks alot. I guess our friendship doesn't mean much."

Jesse turned onto his stomach. "Our friendship is different. You call me out for all my shit and give it back to me. Raven just gets all flustered."

"True."

Jesse slowly sat up, feeling rather pathetic. "You know I don't think Raven would mind if you slept in here. I mean if you want, when Vinny out with Brock's family."

Liam shrugged. "I'll think about it. You probably snore."

"I do not," snapped Jesse. "Where is Vinny?"

"You guessed it. He's with Brock. The asshole has been tightening his hold."

"Has he, you know?"

Liam shook his head. "If he has, Vinny has stopped talking to me about it."

"Do you think Vinny will drop out of school when Brock graduates?"

The taller sub bowed his head. "Maybe, I asked him and he said he didn't know. If anything, he'll finish online. Other subs have done that before."

"Our class is shrinking with every year."

"You're lucky Daven is the same age. I'm surprised he hasn't moved in with you."

Jesse scoffed at the comment. "We're not allowed to be in the same room. Daven's still sleeping on the other side of the mansion and my dad constantly reminds us we're not allowed to do it until we're older."

"So you're ready to 'do it' with him?"

"Yeah. I mean it's me. I've been horny as hell since I hit puberty. I'd probably lost my v-card by now if I didn't puke all over anyone who got close to me."

Liam laughed to himself. "Maybe your anxiety is a blessing."

The door started to beep as someone typed in the code. Daven appeared.

"You didn't waste time giving him the code," said Liam.

Daven narrowed his eyes. "I always have the code. My mate"—he motioned to Jesse—"my brother," he pointed to Raven's bed.

"Sure, whatever you say." Liam stared at the wall.

"Anyways," Daven cleared his throat. "I was kind of looking forward to Jesse being the only one in this room."

"I get it." Liam stood with his hands raised. "You two have fun."

"Bye." Daven quickly closed the door behind the sub and kicked the bathroom one closed as he crossed the room. "Finally, we're alone." He leaped onto Jesse, drawing a squeal from the boy.

"Daven, you're too heavy. Get off me." Jesse pushed on his boyfriend's shoulders.

"You're fine." Daven kissed the boy's neck. "Your dad is driving me nuts. You need to tell him to back off."
