Chapter 7: Getting A Partner

(Two Weeks Later)

Y/N's POV

So, it's been two weeks since Mary Jane started working at the daily bugle with me and it's been fun.

We've been hanging out most of the time other than when I'm out fighting crime.

Speaking of fighting crime that's still going good except for now there is a warrant out for my arrest which isn't good.

Well anyways right now Mary Jane and I are going over some pictures that she took of the vigilante but she doesn't know it's me.

Y/N: These are really good.

Mary Jane: Yeah, you think so?

Y/N: How'd you get so high?

Mary Jane: I climbed.

I chuckle at this.

Y/N: So, you really like this um vigilante?

Mary Jane: I don't think he's a vigilante.

Y/N: No?

Mary Jane: He's a hero.

Y/N: A hero.

Mary Jane: Yeah. Jameson is just jealous he doesn't have superpowers.

I laugh at this.

Mary Jane: He should have a superhero name though.

Y/N: I'm sure he's come up with a few.

I say this knowing completely that I haven't even thought of that.

Mary Jane: We'll clearly he's a man.

Y/N: It could be a woman.

Mary Jane looks at me and crosses her arms.

Mary Jane: It's definitely not a woman.

Y/N: Okay, okay, whatever you say.

Mary Jane: Alright, alright, well he's also got a spider symbol on his chest.

Mary Jane then stays silent for a minute.

Y/N: What are you thinking?

Mary Jane: Oh uh nothing. I should get going. I'll call you okay?

Y/N: Yeah, yeah. See ya.

Then Mary Jane leaves.

I then hear sirens and so I decide to spend the rest of the day crime fighting.

(Several Hours Later)

After crime fighting for the rest of the day I'm now back at my apartment as I was tired.

I crawl in through my window and take off my mask.

Y/N: Whoa. Never gets old.

Then I hear a knock on my door.

Y/N: Uh who is it?

I hurry to get out of my suit.

Cole: It's Cole man. Open up.

Y/N: Um hold on.

I take my suit off and through it into the kitchen.

I go to open the door and realize I'm in my underwear.

Y/N: Shit!

Cole: Y/N, dude open the door.

Y/N: Uh...I...

I look and see a towel on the ground.

Y/N: Just a minute.

I pick the towel up and wrap it around my body and then I open the door.
