Chapter 137: Asgard 2013

(Asgard, 2013) 

Clint's POV

After we exit the quantum realm and land on Asgard in 2013.

Thor, Rocket and I then sneak through the castle so that we can get the Reality Stone. 

As we are going through the castle we sneak past a cell that Loki is stuck in. 

We make it into the main area we look around the corner and see Jane just outside her room. 

Thor: Oh, there's Jane. 

As she leaves the three of us round the corner, Rocket looks to Thor. 

Rocket: Okay, here's the plan, tubby. You're gonna charm her. Then I'm gonna extract the Reality Stone out of her and we'll get gone lickety-split.

Thor: I'll be back, okay? The wine cellar is just down here. My father used to have this huge barrel of Aakonian ale. I'll see if the scullery has a couple of to-go cups.

Clint: Aren't you drunk enough?

Then we hear a noise and get down and we come back up we see a group of women. 

Rocket: Who's the fancy broad?

Thor: That's my mother, she dies today. 

Clint: Oh, that's today. 

Thor starts having a panic attack, but Rocket slaps him out of it. 

Rocket: You think you're the only one who lost people? What do you think we're doing here? I lost the only family I've ever had. Quill, Groot, Drax, the chick with the antenna. All gone. I get you miss your mom, but she's gone. Really gone. And there are plenty of people who are only kind of gone..,,and you can help them. So is it too much to ask that you brush the crums out of your beard, make schmoopy talk to pretty pants...and when she's not looking suck the infinity stone...and help us get our families back.

Thor: (sighs) Okay, you're right. 

Thor then starts crying.

Clint: Are you crying?

Thor: (sobbing) No. Yes. I feel like I'm losing it.

Clint: Get it together!

Thor: Okay, okay, I can do this. 

Rocket and I then start sneaking forward. 

Rocket: Okay heartbreaker she's alone... 

We turn around and we see that Thor is gone. 

Clint: Thor? Thor!? Damn it. 

Rocket: I guess we'll have to do this on our own. 

I nod. 

Clint: Yeah, let's do it. 

Then we sneak into Jane's room. 

When we arrive in her room we see that she is asleep. 

I look at Rocket. 

Clint: You have a plan right?

Rocket: Yes. I suck the stone out while she's sleeping. You keep an eye out. 

I nod. 

Clint: Okay then.

Then Rocket goes over and he sucks the reality stone out of Jane's body.

Rocket: (Whispers) Got it.

Clint: (Whispers) Good. Let's go.

As Rocket comes over to me, a group of guards walk in.

Clint: Run!

Rocket and I then run out of the room with the guards following us. 

Rocket: Let's get Thor and get the hell out of here.

Clint: Couldn't have said it better myself.

Then after we run for a minute, we find Thor talking with his mother.

Clint: Hi.

Rocket: Come on, we've got the thing we gotta move. 

Thor then says goodbye to his mother and then he sticks his hand out. 

Rocket: What the hell are we looking at here? 

Thor's mother: Oh sometimes it takes a minute. 

I realize what he's waiting for.

Clint: She's right. It does.

Then Thor's original hammer flies into his hand. 

Thor: Haha!! I'm still worthy. 

We then activate our time travel suits. 

Clint: Phew.

Thor: Goodbye mom.

Then we shrink down and head back to the Compound in 2023.
