Chapter 120: Seeing Tony

Stephen's POV

Once Banner and L/N tell me we need Tony Stark, I open up a portal and walk through it.

Stephen: Tony Stark.

I see Stark with his fiancé Pepper Potts.

They look at me.

Stephen: I'm Doctor Stephen Strange. I need you to come with me. Oh, uh, congratulations on the wedding, by the way.

Tony: I'm sorry, you giving out tickets to something?

Stephen: We need your help. It's not overselling it to say that the fate of the universe is at stake.

Tony: And who's "We"?

Bruce and Y/N come out of the portal.

Bruce: Hey, Tony.

Y/N: You look good.

Stark's eyes widen seeing them.

Tony: Bruce. Y/N.

Bruce: Pepper.

Pepper: Hi.

Bruce goes over to him.

Tony: You okay?

Bruce: Yeah.

The two of them hug.

Y/N's POV

So after getting Tony back to the building we sit him down.

Strange and Wong then explain everything about the Infinity Stones to Stark.

The six stones are Space, Reality, Mind, Time, Power and Soul Stones.

Tony: Tell me his name again.

Bruce: Thanos.

Tony stands up and joins the four of us.

Bruce: He's a plague, Tony. He invades planets, he takes what he wants and wipes out half the population. He sent Loki. The attack on New York, that was him.

Tony: This is it. What's our timeline?

Y/N: No telling. He has the Power and Space Stones. That already makes the strongest creature in the whole universe. If he gets his hands on all six stones, Tony...

Tony: I'm sorry, so you've been out there, alive for the last two years?

Y/N: Yeah.

Tony: Okay then.

Stephen: The point is that Thanos could destroy life on a scale hitherto undreamt of.

Tony: Did you seriously just say "hitherto undreamt of?"

Stephen: Are you seriously leaning on the Cauldron of the Cosmos?

Strange's cape smacks Tony's hand away.

Tony: I am going to allow that.

As we continue to talk Strange and Tony argue about the time stone.

Tony: The point is, things change.

Stephen: Our oath to protect the Time Stone cannot change. And this stone maybe the only chance we have against Thanos.

Tony: Yeah, so conversely means it'll also be his best chance against us.

Stephen: Well, if we don't do our jobs.

Tony: What is your job exactly? I mean aside from making balloon animals.

Stephen: Protecting your reality, douchebag.

Y/N: Enough! I can tell you first hand, that it doesn't matter if we have this stone, mind, reality, Thanos is coming regardless. I saw firsthand what he could do, he took down Thor like he was a fucking toothpick.

Bruce: Anyways, look Vision is out there somewhere with the Mind Stone....and we have to find him now.

Tony: Yeah, that's the thing.

Bruce & Y/N: What do you mean?

Tony: Two weeks ago, Vision turned of his transponder. He's offline.

Bruce & Y/N: What!?!?

Bruce: Tony, you lost another super bot?

Tony: I did not lose him. He's more than that. He's evolving.

Strange: Who could find Vision then?

Tony sighs.

Tony: (Whispers) Shit. Probably Steve Rogers.

Strange sighs.

Tony: Maybe. But...

Bruce: Call him.

Tony then goes over to the other side of the room.

My spider sense then starts to go off.

Tony then looks at Strange.

Tony: Say, doc, you wouldn't happen to be moving your hair, would you?

Strange: Not at the moment, no.

We then start to hearing rumbling outside as there's a hole in the ceiling.

Tony: Let's go.

We all then head outside to see what the commotion is.
