Chapter 15: The Chameleon

(One Week Later)

Y/N's POV

MJ and I are having lunch at a diner and we're sitting in a booth. She's showing me the pictures she took of Spider-Man.

Mary Jane: So here Spider-Man is on the flag pole downtown.

Y/N: How'd you even manage to get this picture?

Mary Jane: I scaled like a lot.

I laugh at this.

Mary Jane: Oh and I have another one in my purse.

She gets into her purse to get the photo but as she turns around I kiss her.

She puts her hands on my cheeks and then we pull away.

Y/N: Sorry, I just I've been wanting to do that for a while.

Mary Jane: No. no don't be. I've wanted to do it too.

We start kissing again and as we're kissing my phone starts ringing.

I groan as I pull away.

Y/N: Just give me one moment.

Mary Jane: All right.

I smile as I stand up and walk over to the corner and answer my phone.

Y/N: Hello.

Cole: Hey it's me.

Y/N: What's up Cole? I'm sorta doing something right now.

Cole: Sorry but I got something on the kingpin.

Y/N: Really? What'd you get?

Cole: Well I didn't find him but I found someone who may know where he is.

Y/N: Okay, who?

Cole: His name is Dmitri Smerdyakov. He goes by the name of Chameleon.

Y/N: Why chameleon?

Cole: Apparently he has a belt that allows him to turn into anyone he touches.

Y/N: Okay, do you have an address?

Cole: He's currently apart of a drug deal going on right now.

Y/N: How do you know that?

Cole: Because I'm looking at him right now.

I groan.

Y/N: Just stay there. I'm on my way.

Cole: Wait, what are you doing?

Y/N: Having lunch with MJ. I'm on my way.

Cole: All right, man.

Then I hang up and go back over to MJ.

Y/N: Hey, I'm so sorry. But I have to cut this short. Something came up at Oscorp.

Mary Jane: Oh uh well that's okay. We can talk later then.

Y/N: All right.

I start to walk away but I turn back around.

Y/N: Would you like to have dinner? With me?

Mary Jane: I'd love to.

Y/N: Great. I'll call you.

Mary Jane: And I'll answer.

I smile and then leave the diner.

I then run down the alley and change into my suit and then I put my mask on.

I then run and jump onto the wall and start scaling.

Then I jump and web swing to the address Cole sent me.
