Calum

I sat in the kitchen, sipping my coffee and looking at my phone.

"Babe." I looked up to see Calum smiling at me.

"Yes." I spoke as I stood up.

"She's ready." He said.

"Let's see her, then." I nodded.

"Lola, honey." Calum yelled. I laughed as she ran down the hallway, the skirt of her tutu bouncing around as her bunches also jumped.

"Oh my god, sweetie, you look adorable." I smiled.

"Daddy did a good job." She squealed, looking at her attire.

"He did, didn't he?" I nodded, smiling and biting my lip.

"You ready for your first day of school, love?" Calum asked her, placing his hand against her hair.

"Yeah." She smiled, nodding. Calum returned it as I got her bag.

"Come here, love." I spoke. She squealed as her arms flew out, allowing me to put her bag onto her back.

"Let's go, baby girl." He smiled at her. She squealed again as she ran out of the door.

"Hey." I spoke. Calum looked at me.

"Yeah?" he asked.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Why wouldn't I be?" he returned.

"Because your little princess is going to school for the first time, and she's the ultimate daddy's girl. It's okay if you're emotional." I chuckled. He shook his head and bit his lip.

"No, I'm surprisingly okay, especially since I'm getting another girl in three months." He chuckled, putting his hand against my pregnant bump.

"Okay then. Well, you know I'll be here when you get home. Take your time in seeing her off." I nodded. He returned it.

"See you in half an hour." He smiled, pecking my lips before heading out. I pulled my cardigan further around my body and leant against the doorway as I watched Calum and Lola.

"In you go." He smiled, lifting her up and strapping her into her car seat.

"Bye, mummy!" Lola squealed.

"Bye, honey, have a good first day." I smiled.

"See you soon." Calum returned before he started to drive.

Luke

I sat at the breakfast bar in the kitchen, sipping my coffee. I looked at my watch and sighed as I stood up.

"Come on, baby, time to get ready for your first day of school." I spoke as I walked to Martha's room. I looked in and my eyebrows furrowed as she wasn't in there.

"Martha?" I called out.

"We're in here, babe." Luke called from our bedroom. I opened the door and smiled at the sight of Martha sitting on my makeup table chair, with Luke standing behind her, doing her hair.

"Oh. Daddy's doing your hair." I chuckled, causing them to look at me.

"Yeah, daddy said he would get me ready for today." She nodded, giving me a toothy grin.

"Okay, so daddy knows how to do your hair." I smirked, looking at Luke.

"How hard can it be?" he shrugged as he brushed her hair.

"Let me know when you accidentally knot it." I chuckled.

"What?!" she squealed, putting her hands in her hair.
