Calum

I walked around the park with my puppy. I sighed as I lost myself in the nature. Suddenly, a little girl ran up to me.

"Doggy!" she squealed as she started to stroke my puppy.

"Dove, what have I told you about running away?" I looked up to see a stunning man standing there. He picked the little girl up and took her in his arms.

"I am so sorry." He sighed, looking at me.

"It's okay, he's a friendly puppy, she can stroke him." I smiled, making him return it.

"Please, daddy." The little girl spoke. He sighed before putting her down again. She immediately ran to my puppy and started to pet him again.

"So, you new around here?" he asked.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"This is a small town, everyone knows everyone, and I've never seen you here before." He shrugged.

"Ah." I nodded.

"You need someone to show you around?" he asked.

"It depends who's offering." I smiled, making him chuckle.

"I'm offering." He smirked.

"Sure. I would love to be shown around by you and this gorgeous little princess." I spoke, looking at his little girl as she smiled up at me.

"Awesome. Here's my phone number, I'll text you soon." He smirked as he gave me a slip of paper.

"Okay." I smiled.

"Come on, Dove, we need to go, we'll see the nice lady and her dog later." He smiled as he took her hand.

"Bye." I chuckled as they walked away.

"Hey, what's your name?" I shouted.

"Calum, you?" he asked.

"Y/N." I smiled.

Luke

I walked into the ice cream parlour and looked around. I looked in front of me, at the tall guy with his little girl.

"Hey." He smiled.

"Hey." I returned as he went up to order. A moment later, I heard him.

"I have enough change for an ice cream, man, come on." It was the man.

"Sir, we have increased the prices, and you don't have enough, so I can't serve you." The cashier sighed.

"Cut me some slack, I'm in front of my little girl." He groaned.

"I'm sorry, sir, there's nothing I can do." He insisted. I walked forward.

"I'll pay for it." I spoke. The man looked at me.

"No, it's okay, we have ice cream at home." He sighed, looking at his daughter and placing his hand against her hair.

"No, I insist, it's fine." I smiled.

"Are you sure?" he asked, making me nod.

"Thank you." He smiled. He handed his daughter the ice cream and we left the parlour.

"What's your name?" he asked.

"I'm Y/N, what about you?" I asked.

"Luke." He smiled.

"What you did was really nice." He smiled as we walked through the park.

"No bother. I remember how upset I was when I wouldn't get an ice cream when I was her age." I chuckled.
