Calum

I ran through the trees, stumbling slightly on the odd twig. Suddenly, I was slammed against the wall of a cabin as I yelped out at the contact. I glared at the culprit.

"Did you really think you could outrun me, vampire?" Calum hissed in my face.

"Fuck off, Hood." I spat back. He just smirked at me.

"Nah. You have no idea what it's going to mean for me when I bring you in. You've been on our list for centuries." He smirked.

"Good to know that I'm famous across species." I hissed. He chuckled at me.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I best be on my way." I smiled, showing him my snow-white fangs as I stepped forward slightly.

"Ah, not so fast." He chuckled, taking out a silver dagger and pressing the tip into my neck. Calum raised the knife, forcing me to look up at him and move backwards so that my back collided with the cabin wall again.

"Not so strong now, are you?" he smirked, leaving our faces less than an inch apart.

"What do you want from me?" I spat. He stuck the knife further into my throat, making me yelp at the contact.

"Ah, ah, ah, be nice, or I will end you." He threatened.

"Drop dead, Hood." I smiled.

"Okay, sweetheart. But first, I'm bringing you in." he spoke simply.

"No, you're not." I scoffed. He pushed the dagger further into my throat.

"I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I have a knife at your throat. You don't have a choice." He smiled at me.

"Okay, I've had enough now, I'm bored." I stated. He looked at me in confusion. I brought my leg up to his chest and pushed forward, sending Calum flying backwards into a tree. He fell to the ground immediately. He coughed and spluttered as I walked towards him, a smirk on my lips. I crouched down next to him, putting my lips next to his ear.

"I told you that you're not taking me. But you know where to find me." I smirked. He smiled back.

"No need for that, sweetheart. I'm taking you in." he smirked weakly. Suddenly, an overwhelming pain swept through my stomach. I looked down slowly to see a wooden stake sticking out of my body. I quickly pulled it out before looking at Calum. He smirked at me.

"I'll give you a five-second head start." He teased. I quickly got up and started to stumble away.

"Five." I immediately showed down, looking at my waist. I pressed my hand against the wound, making my fingers drip with blood.

"Four." Suddenly, my foot caught on a root, pulling me down. I cursed myself as I tugged at my foot, unable to get it free.

"Three." I looked up to see him metres away. I tugged desperately at my ankle.

"Two." Calum smirked as he slowly walked towards me. I gave my ankle one last tug, not able to find the strength to break the root.

"One." He whispered, crouching down beside me. I scowled at him. He placed the silver knife back at my neck before taking another knife out of his boot and starting to hack at the root. After a moment, my leg was free but Calum still had me at knife point. He stood up slowly, making me stand with him by raising the knife.

"Come on, sweetheart, let's go." He smiled before stabling a needle into my neck.

"I'm not going anywhere with-." I didn't finish my sentence as I fell into Calum's arms. Fuck. That worked fast.
