So, what am I going to wear? I'm standing in front of the closet, staring at all the things I brought—3 sundresses, 5 sets of swimwear; two-piece and one-piece, a one-piece rashguard, 3 beach shorts, 2 high-waisted denim shorts, 3 crop tops, black leggings, 3 lousy shirts, 2 pairs of printed pajamas, Birkenstock beach slip-on, a sunglasses, a baseball cap, a rattan sling bag, a reusable shopping bag, sunscreen, sunblock, a microfiber towel, a pouch containing my make-up essentials, 2 Sophie Kinsella books, a MacBook, and my planner.

Another thing about me, I suck at packing as much as I suck at organizing things. I tend to grab whichever I see first.

Today is the day I'm going out with Kai.

I cringe.

Going ouuuuut? I don't think that's the proper way to call it. Let's settle on going around. Hanging out?

Apparently, while I was sunbathing and overthinking yesterday, he went by to say "I'll meet you at 9 am." Ah, I can still remember how he sparks when I was slowly opening my eyes. Before I can even answer, he starts walking back to the kitchen.

After an hour of just laying there, I decided to go to my room to doze off. I alarmed my phone at 7:30 am so I'll have enough time to prepare and eat breakfast in the open area. I guess I'll be meeting Kai there as well. I wonder if he also prepares the buffet breakfast? It's summer season in the country so there will probably be a lot of guests coming in for the coming days.

I'm done taking a bath—the water was so warm I almost fell asleep on the tub, and their organic bombs smell like vanilla and I love everything vanilla. I'm a sucker for vanilla-scented candles.

I've been standing here for 5 minutes already and yet I'm still clueless about what clothes suit me best for today. I have no idea where we're going which only adds to the burden.

I look at the time from my iPhone. It's already 8:20 am.

I may be unorganized with my things but I always want to look presentable in front of others—with that being said, I'm obsessed with buying designer clothes, shopping in Zara whenever I have free time, and saving up for luxury bags and shoes.

I grab the plain coral pink medium-length sundress, I'll pair it with my black one-piece underneath. I put sunblock on my body and sunscreen on my face, and oh, a little cheek and lip tint won't work, right? I put on my rattan bag with my phone, sunglasses, and a small wallet inside. Before leaving, I wear my Birkenstock slip-on.

When I'm sure the door is locked, I walk towards the open area where a long table set up with bountiful food greeted me. There are people eating their breakfast already.

I start checking out the meals. There's a corner for beverages; black coffee, hot chocolate, orange & apple juice, and milk. The main dishes are omelet, sunny side up eggs, sausages, corned beef, bacon, chicken tenders, beef stew, baked milkfish, fried rice, pancakes, loaf bread, and fresh veggies with dressings. I'm definitely going to gain weight after this vacation. Thanks to Kai's business that serves tasty food.

I put a sunny side up, sausage, and veggies on my plate and grab a glass of orange & apple juice. Then I sit at a vacant table and start eating my breakfast.

I haven't seen Kai yet. He did say "tomorrow" right? He did say "9 am" right? I'm not imagining things right? I wonder where will we go first—will it be on a hidden beach? A tourist destination that's 2 hours away from here and requires riding a boat? Or are we going to eat a smoothie bowl while watching the ocean waves?

"Mind if I join you?"

I look up to see the ever-gorgeous Kai Carter. God, I've already said a lot of adjectives to justify his look. I low-key scrutinize him. He's wearing Ray-ban Clubmaster sunglasses, a plain white t-shirt, board shorts, and a beach Birkenstock slip-on—and he has this morning aura that shows how fresh he is.
