"Put me down!" I demanded as America walked down the stairs, still carrying me over his shoulder like a sack of grain. He laughed and continued outside, where the cold nipped at my exposed midriff. "Al-fred!"

"Dude, chill! We've been wondering where you were all morning!"

"Yeah, but the light hurts!" I yelped, shutting my eyes against the glare from the overcast sky. "You gotta get me some sunglasses 'r something!"

America sighed, set me down, and extracted a pair of sunglasses from his pocket to offer to me. I didn't see it so he just put them on for me, brushing my hair behind my ears in the process. "How's that?"

I opened my eyes and blinked a couple times to let them become accustomed to the change in light. "Much better, thanks." I smiled a fanged smile and he grinned.

"Dude you look so badass with those fangs!" he cheered.

"I feel pretty badass, too!"

"Mon ami, zhere you are!" France said as he hurried over to the both of us. "I heard what 'appened, are you alright?"

I nodded once. "Yeah, I'm fine. Sensitive to light and all, but fine otherwise."

"Ah~ Thank goodness," he sighed, enveloping me in a hug. I was totally fine with it until I felt a hand exploring my ass and a perverted "Ohhonhonhonhon~" in my ear. "You fell for it, mon cher~"

I shoved the French bastard away and slugged him in the arm for good measure. "Don't make me do the unthinkable," I growled before storming off, leaving the "unthinkable" up to his imagination. He didn't even flinch at the thought.

"I wait to see what zhat will be~" he cooed at my retreating backside.

"Don't hold your breath for anything you'd like!" I retorted, if lamely.

America hurried after me after shooting France a deadly glare. "Dude, I know that sucked but I guess you shoulda seen it coming."

I sighed. "Yeah, I know. Maybe I should've showed him my fangs and acted all vampire-y."

"HA! No, slugging him like that was enough. And frickin' funny!"

"Like Totally" by Parry Gripp suddenly played from my pocket as it vibrated, making me yelp and pull it out my new cellphone quickly. I accepted the call and pressed the phone to my ear.

"Feliks? What's happening?" I asked lightly as I leaned back in my seat.

"Hey, girlfriend! Heard you, like, went all vampy 'n stuff. Totally wicked!" he cheered through the connection.

I deadpanned. "I dunno if that's what I'd call it, but okay then. It's not going to affect the shoot, is it?"

"You're gonna be back to normal, like, soon, right?"

"England's working on the formula to change me back, so hopefully that's a yes."

"Oh thank god! I was totally worried there for a bit. Yeah, you'd look, like, washed out because you're so pale."

I looked around and spotted Poland looking at me through the wall of windows that lined one side of the cafeteria. I waved and he copied the action with a happy grin.

"Yeah, good point. England is trying to fix this whole mess."

"We'll hope it doesn't, like, turn into a total disaster," Poland added, and I looked confused since he could see.
