The man -vampire- standing in front of me looked very much like Romania. His hair was the same shade of silvery-blond, and although this guy was taller and older-looking he looked like an older version of Vlad. His hair was down to the middle of his back and he carried himself in a way that immediately set off my gaydar. A tight black T-shirt complimented his red eyes and neon pink skinny jeans.

"Hey there, guys!" he chirped with a bright smile. "Looks like you found someone after all! And OMG it's a girl!"

"A little biotch is more like it," Tutu huffed, and I whipped around to face him with a hand raised.

"You wanna go, bitch?" I spat angrily.

Boss chuckled. "A feisty one, great job. We could use a little spunk on this team."

"Why did you kidnap me, anyway?" I asked Boss. "You're looking for vampires, I get that, but for what reason?"

"Timmy didn't explain that to you?" he asked, looking at Tutu

"I-I thought it'd be better if you persuaded her," Tutu defended quickly. "A-After all, she doesn't like or listen to us."

"I see," Boss said, turning his gaze back on me. "To answer your question, I'm gathering vampires for an army. We're going to attack my younger brother and I'll take back my throne."

"Throne over what, exactly?" I was curious to know.

"Romania," Boss replied.

My stomach dropped as the realization sunk in. "You're after Vladimir!"

The happy look in his eye vanished as a cold hatred settled in. "How dare you speak his name. You talk as though you know my brother, rata."

"Yeah, we're friends," I blurted before I could stop my big mouth.

Boos took a step towards me and I found myself flinching back, but he looked as if he decided against something. "Well, you're in better company now, rata."

I snorted, dumb bravery finding its way back to me. "With these three dweebs? I think not."

"Hey!" those three dweebs protested.

"Oh shut it, Tutu, Mimi, Frou-Frou," I shot back with my arms folded and a triumphant grin on my face. "I'm way cooler than all three of you multiplied. Prussia would agree if he were here, but only because I didn't say awesome. Meh, he's not here right now. I'm awesome and there's nothing you can do about it," I said, rambling a little.

"I mean, you three obviously don't know how to blend in with the crowd. You're making it so obvious with all the black leather. What's up with that? You trying to be cool? And another thing: an old warehouse, really? That's the best you came up with? Sorry to leave so suddenly, but I'm not hanging out with you all any longer. I'm going home, so don't even try to stop me."

I only took two steps towards the door when a large hand rested on my bare shoulder.

"What about all the humans out there?" Boss pointed out. "They hate our kind."

"First off, I'm not going to be one of 'your kind' for much longer. Second, I don't hang out much with humans, I hang out with my friends at Gakuen."

"What kind of a school is Gakuen?" Frou-Frou asked one of his pals.

Boss answered before I could. "It's complicated, I'll tell you later. But, miss, if you go there then are you also one of them? A country?"

I crossed my arms again and took a couple testy steps away from Boss. "Yes, but I don't know which. Yet."
