Their little get together had been happening for months. None of them seemed to get sick of each other's company.

Some nights, they would read comics and novels.  Most nights, they would talk until it was time for Y/N to go. Other nights would be her helping Sam rehearse for his street performance for the next day.

This night was one of those nights.

"What are you in about? You perform great!" Y/N exclaimed, flailing her arms as she told Sam what she thinks of his performance. It was partially true, on her account. She just left out the part where she was starting to have feelings for him even more.

Though, Samuel thought otherwise. "My dad would have told me otherwise." He trailed out as he rubbed his neck and sat back down on the folding chair beside her. They pretend that they don't notice, but both of their seats were getting closer and closer to each other every week.

Y/N couldn't help but scoff. "Who cares about what he thinks? You of all people should know what's right in your own perspective. There's a whole lot of time for improvement, so keep going." She remarked whilst setting her empty plate aside. She couldn't help but get his British accent stuck inside her head. "Besides, your British accent's too hot foe you to stop." She muttered under her breath, looking at the flaming firepit in front of them.

A wide-eyed Sam was suddenly flushed. "W-What?" It was possible that he could be hearing things.

"What?" Y/N nervously chuckled, "I didn't say anything. A bee's probably buzzing around your ear. " She added in a way that it was almost as if she was talking gibberish. You're being defensive, moron. She internally snarled to herself.

Sam only looked at her, accidentally glancing down to her lips that he wanted to kiss so badly. Yet, he thought Y/N might only see them as less than what he desired to be with her.

He didn't notice how it got Y/N flustered by the way he was smirking at her whilst Sam looked at her for a really, really long minute. "I-Is there something on my face or...?" Until Y/N spoke up. He was grateful that he was snapped out of it. He almost leaned in.

"Nothing." He said to her quietly after noticing the Moon above the girl. "I just think your even more beautiful under the Moon." He whispered, making Y/N chuckle timidly before looking away from him all flattered by his words.

At this moment, Y/N noticed it was still an early night. It was then she had the want to go somewhere else to hang out with the boy. Then again, he probably just wanted to stay, she thought.

"Do.. do you wanna go somewhere?"

Though her mouth said otherwise when she spoke up. She never knew she'd have the guts to ask him out. Hell, Y/N didn't even know she was already asking Sam out. "Like, just, you know, walk around the town and stretch our limbs for a sec?" She couldn't help but itch her forehead.

Sam's mouth was left semi-agape for he was amused and happy. He didn't know the reason as to why it excited him. He was only being asked to walk around town with her. It wasn't anything big.

He never realized he went quiet for a whole minute till Y/N suddenly retracted her question with stutters, crestfallen. "Okay, I think you're too comfortable to leave, let's just--"

"No, no!" Samuel suddenly interrupted almost too quickly. "I'd actually like that." He bashfully blurted out. Because of that, it made Y/N form a grin that he could never seem to get sick of.

"Okay, then." She said with a smile. "I'm just gonna get a hoodie and let my parents know."

As she went inside her house, Sam let out a breath that he never knew he was holding. With the excitement that he was feeling, the ability to keep his arms in one place had suddenly disappeared. He didn't know where he could place his hand; first, it would run through his hair, and then down to rub the back of his neck, and eventually, he settled on folding his arms together on his chest.
