"Mrs. Park? Can I take Jimin out again, today?"

"Of course. You don't even need to ask permission, Yoongi. I trust you."

Yoongi smiles at that, "Thank you."

"Where's Jimin?" He asks after noticing the empty music room.

"He's in his room, trying to finish today's homework before you were supposed to get here. You can go up, it's the first room on the left."

Nodding at the directions, Yoongi slightly bows before making his way upstairs towards Jimin's room.

🎼🎹

Letting out a harsh breath of frustration, Jimin throws his head back onto the edge of the bed. He's sitting on the floor, homework sprawled out in front of him.

He's been doing homework ever since he got home two hours ago so he could finish before the lesson. But, it's just so much, he's starting to get a little stressed out.

When he hears a knock at the door, he speaks with a breath, "Come in."

The door opens to show Yoongi startling Jimin. "Hyung?"

"Hey, Jimin." Yoongi greets, beaming. Jimin is about to greet him back but then he realizes how much of a mess his room is.

"Ah- I'm so sorry you have to see this-" Jimin says, scrambling to get all the books in a pile and his notebooks, too.

Yoongi laughs lightly, entering the room and sitting on a nearby chair. "It's okay, my room is worse actually."

Jimin shakes his head. "You haven't seen my room in its actual mess. It looks this clean because today's laundry day."

The words make Yoongi let out a soft laugh in amusement. "You, on the other hand, haven't even seen my room, you're in no room to speak, hm?"

"Hyung..." Jimin starts, realizing the time. "Why are you here so early?"

Yoongi hums looking down at Jimin's homework. "Thought that I should take you somewhere today instead of a lesson. It'll be a good break from your homework. How does that sound?"

Jimin thinks for a moment and concludes it to not be a bad idea. So, he nods, "Sounds great. I'll... get changed."

Yoongi just sits there, not really getting the message. Then, Jimin says again, cheeks flushed, "I'll get changed."

Realizing what Jimin meant, Yoongi stands up suddenly, red tinting his cheeks as well. "O-oh, my bad. I'll be downstairs." And, he scurries out the room, embarrassed.

Jimin giggles to himself at how cute that was and piles all his books before heading towards his closet.

🎼🎹

"Where are we going?" Jimin asks once they're out. He sees a car right in front of their house on the road and assumes it's Yoongi's. They must be going a bit far, then.

With a grin on his face, Yoongi goes towards the car, "You'll see. Get in."

Curiously, Jimin gets on the passenger side, wondering where they'll be going.

🎼🎹

The crowd silences when the soft sounds begin, everyone's hearts swayed by the music.

Yoongi glances to the side to look at Jimin, seeing the boy's eyes sparkle with so much amazement as he watches the pianist perform. His heart warms at the expression Jimin is holding, the adoration towards the music really seen in his eyes.

After a few seconds, Jimin looks to his side, eyes landing on Yoongi's. Noticing that he was being stared at, he gets slightly flustered before cheekily saying, "I'm not what you brought me here to watch, hyung."

That makes Yoongi laugh before he finally tears his eyes away from Jimin to look at the stage, seeing the way the man sways on the bench to the music he has created.

Yoongi was just on his way home from the last class of the day, and he saw a poster on the bus and decided to spontaneously take Jimin out to watch it; thought it would be a perfect 'field trip' related with their lessons.

The song eventually ends and the man bows to the audience, leaving the stage. Yoongi checks the time and sees if they don't leave now, they'll be late.

"Jimin, we should go, now," he says and his heart hurts a little seeing the sad pout Jimin gives.

But, Jimin knows that it's getting late and he also has homework to finish, so he tentatively agrees, following Yoongi out of the area to his car.

The ride is conversationless, filled with the sound of classical music playing on the radio. Jimin is almost falling asleep when the car stops.

When he blinks open his eyes into a more awake state, he mutters quietly, "This isn't my house..."

Yoongi just gives him an amused look. "I know. This is the apartment complex just next to your block. I'm almost out of gas, I'll drop you off. We'll walk."

Nodding, Jimin exits the car, yawning as he closes the door. "I'm already so tired... I still have homework to do..."

They walk together towards the same direction of Jimin's house when Yoongi asks. "What do you have left."

Groaning, Jimin answers, "Compulsory English and Compulsory Maths."

Cocking an eyebrow, Yoongi offers, "I can help with math if you like? As for English... ask Namjoon."

Jimin widens his eyes, "Really?" Then he glowers, "But, you also have your own work. I've taken up enough of your time."

Ruffling Jimin's hair affectionately as they walked, Yoongi shakes his head, "Not at all. Compulsory Maths was really fun if I remember."

Jimin pouts in annoyance. "There's nothing fun about Maths."

Heart clenching at Jimin's adorable expression, Yoongi says, "There are two types of people in the world; the ones who love maths and the ones who don't."

"I'm the one who doesn't. Maths sucks."

"I was really good at it, so I don't really have anything against it."

"I've never understood how you people are good at maths," Jimin huffs.

The conversation ends there, being decided that Yoongi will stay a little longer at Jimin's to help him with math.

While they're walking, it's getting darker and darker, so it isn't a big surprise when Jimin almost falls off the footpath. And, just like all those scenes- except a little less gracefully- Yoongi catches him by his hand and arm, pulling him back.

"You okay?" He breaths, the distance between them a little less than normal, their eyes close enough to see their tiny reflection and the twinkle of the street lamp.

"Yeah," Jimin mumbles before Yoongi lets go - although, not completely. He's still holding onto Jimin's hand, facing forward, not looking at Jimin's flushed face.

Neither says a word, walking in silence with their hands entwined.
