Jade POV

It's been 4 months.

4 months since we had that talk and I never heard of him anymore.

I'm not going to lie to myself and to be honest, I did spend a lot of nights crying and thinking of him but I always told myself that I did the right thing. I'm doing this for him and for me.

A lot of things happened within those months.

Kate was accepted as Aunt May's personal assistant and it really pays well and I'm happy for her, really. El and I haven't contacted each other since that scene at her house and I'm not planning to apologize to her because she was the one whose acting all weird and all that and I guess, with that, our so called friendship ends there. Luke is still the same goofy one but he turns out to be the sweetest boy when it comes to his girlfriend. Riley already learned her lesson not to go to parties especially her mom will eventually know because she promised to us.

And, me?

Well, I've been feeling fine because my work is doing good and I also told mom about it. At first, she was mad at me for doing it but after all, she learned to accept it and she said that I better do good with this. I've been hanging out with Kate and Cameron more and they toured me around London and I can say, London is a great place. Ashton and I still text each other but not that often because of course, he already has a girlfriend.

Love life? Nah. I'm good and I'm not interested with those things anymore.

And after long nights of me crying, I can say that finally, I've moved on.

Now, I've been sleeping alright every night and I haven't thought of him anymore, well, I did because sometimes he just popped out of nowhere in my head but I haven't felt something anymore. No butterflies, no blushing and my heart is just beating normal, not like before.

I was snapped out of my thoughts as I heard my phone rang. And oh, I bought a new phone and I'm satisfied with it.

Cameron's name flashed on the screen and I didn't hesitate to pick up.

"Hey."

"Hi, Jade! You have work today?" Cameron asked.

"Well, it's Tuesday today, right? So, it means that I have. How many times do I have to tell you that I work on Monday's, Tuesday's and Thursday's? Really, Cam?" I chuckled and I heard him groaned.

"Sorry! I kept on forgetting. I was just wondering if you can come with me tonight at Rigby's bar? It's a nice bar because they always had people singing and it's not like the other bars that it's really full of people with sweaty bodies all around. It's a nice one, I promise. Please." Cameron begged. Well, my shift will end every 4:00 in the afternoon so, why not?

"Sure. Can Kate come?"

"Of course! I'll get you guys at 6:30, yeah?"

Well, I forgot. Kate is already living with us here at Aunt May's because she's her personal assistant and when Aunt May knew that Kate is just living in a small apartment, she didn't hesitate to welcome her in her house and let her live here and I'm happy with that, actually.

"That'll be cool. Bye, Cam. I'm going to get ready for work. See you later!"

"Okay. Bye. See you!"

I changed into my working outfit which is a black maid outfit that has 6 white buttons, with white collars and sleeves. The outfit just ended 2 inches above my knee. Kate always tease me with this outfit because she said that I look like a barbie doll. Seriously?
