Chapter 30

(__) POV

We ended up staying at that island for a couple of days before setting sail again. Right now Izo and I were sunbathing on the deck while sipping a nice cold drink Thatch prepared for us. I was in a white tank top that stopped just above my belly button. I had on shorts and my hair was tied in a high ponytail.
"Izo, it seems we are nearing Totto Land." One of the crew said. Wait Totto Land, that sounds familiar.
"Oh, I see. Move the ship away. It would be a big problem for us if we get any closer."
"Wait now I remember!!!" I shouted surprising Izo and the crew guy.
"Remember what?" He asked but I didn't stay long enough to answer him. I sprinted passed some people knocking them down and only stopped once I reached my room. I went into my closet searching for my backpack. Once I found it I pulled out a certain den den mushi.
"Purururu, Purururu, Purururu, click."
"Katakuri you said you live on Totto Land right?" I said the moment he picked up.
"Yes."
"Are you there right now?"
"Yes."
"Perfect. I'm nearby Totto Land so I can come and see you!" I said excitedly.
"Wait, I'll pick you up."
"Are sure I can just come on my own."
"No, it's better if I pick you up."
"Okay, but wait until I land on a nearby island."
"Okay." He said plainly.
"Bye!"
"Bye."
"Click." I can't believe how lucky I am. To think I would happen to sail nearby Katakuri's home by accident. I haven't seen him in a year. I wonder how he's been. I'm so excited to see him again!! I grabbed my backpack and some beli before heading back out to deck.
"Why do you have your bag on?" Marco asked.
"And what did you remember?" Izo asked.
"I have my bag on because I'm leaving t-." I was able to finish my sentence because Izo and Marco started yelling out of nowhere.
"WHAT!?!?!?!?! YOU'RE LEAVING!!!!!" They should in unison.
"Why are you leaving!?!?" Izo said.
"Isn't it too early!?!" Marco added.
"LET ME FINISH!!!!!!" I shouted silencing both of them.
"I'm only leaving for a bit to visit a friend because he lives nearby here."
"Oh, sorry we should have let you finish." Marco apologized.
"I don't know if you should be leaving. This place is very dangerous." Izo warned.
"Don't worry I'll be fine." After saying my goodbyes to the two I jumped down to my ship still tied to the Moby Dick.
"Don't you want to say bye to Ace before leaving!" Marco shouted to me.
"No way, he'll only try and stop me. Wait a couple of hours and the tell him!!" With that, I set sail to an island nearby Totta Land. Once there I called Katakuri again and gave him my location. It took him about a day or so but he finally got here.
"Katakuri!!!!" I yelled in excitement when I saw him. I ran over to him and hugged his legs. He placed his hand on the top of my head and rubbed into affectionately.
"You haven't changed at all," I said looking up at him while giggling.
"Neither have you."
"I guess so." After that, we tied my boat to his and headed back to Totto Land. It took us about a day to get there. I spent the whole time talking to Katakuri of course. While passing by the islands I saw the most amazing things ever. There were islands filled with chocolate some were filled with candy and some were filled with jelly. It was the coolest thing ever. None of my books ever told me about islands of chocolate before. Then we finally reached the center of it all. Whole Cake Island. The island was covered in mouthwatering cakes and tarts and a couple of doughnuts too. Walking through the city I saw all kinds of species. There were people so tall they were almost Katakuri's height. There were Mincs and there were Fishman. The whole city including the buildings were covered in sweets. Finally, we got to the center of it. In the middle of it, all was the tallest cake I had ever seen. It was a large four-layered pink and white cake. It had different styles of stripes going all around it and there was a large gold gateway, big enough for a giant to enter.
"Wow!!!!!" I said in amazement. "This is the coolest city I have seen yet!"
"You like it?"
"I don't like it, I love it! I've never seen an archipelago made out of sweets and that isn't even the best part. I've studied many islands and I never heard of one that holds multiple species like this. Everyone here is so different and yet they live so peacefully. It's amazing!!"
"You noticed it. That's Mama's dream. For all species to live together as one."
"That's a wonderful dream then."
"Big brother Katakuri you're back!!!" I heard someone yell. I looked over at the gateway and saw a couple of people there. The one yelling and waving was a kid around 12 years old. She had black hair tied in a ponytail by a large red scrunchie. She had one a large round red and white pok a dot dress. Next to her was an older woman with lavender hair. Her skin looked like an unhealthy gray color and she had a long red nose. She wore a long-sleeve white dress that covered her legs and exposed a part of her breasts. Next to her was a tall slim man with wiggle weird pok o dot hair. His long tongue hanged out of his mouth and rested into his large yellow jacket. Nearby was another man. His face was white and he had a long red nose. He had long limbs and a stocky abdomen and blonde hair that flares outward. He wore a black and white skeleton suit that was zipped down at the top to reveal his chest.
"Big brother you came back pretty fast." The girl with black hair said not even noticing me.
"Big brother, who is this?" The man with blonde hair asked pointing at me.
"Oh, I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself. My name is (__), I'm Katakuri's friend." I said with a smile and for some reason, they all looked very unhappy.
"You his friend." The blonde said.
"I admit your beautiful but you can't be his friend." The one with the long tongue said.
"How dare you say your big brother Katakuri's friend!!!" The kid yelled. "Are Big brother is too amazing to be with someone like you!!" Okay, this little girl is irritating me. What does she mean someone like me!! Okay okay calm down (__), I can't go hurting a kid. Even if she is a spoiled brat.
"Big Brother who is this girl? Is she really your friend?" The other girl said.
"Yes." That one word seemed to shock all four of his siblings. "Don't tell Mama I brought her here." With that, he walked away.
"This can't be." The older women said.
"You should leave right now, you aren't worthy to be called friends with big brother!!" The kid yelled again.
"I'm sorry but what exactly do you mean by not worthy?" I asked a little coldly.
"I mean you are trash. Our big brother is the most perfect person in the world no one deserves to be at his side!!!" Her brothers and sisters tried to calm her down but it wasn't working.
"Okay, I'm not trash. And don't you think that's a little mean of you to say. To say no one doesn't deserve to be by his side is lonely." The rest of them all looked at me with wide eyes.
"Shutup!!!!" The kid yelled and slapped me hard on my cheek.
"Flampe you shouldn't do that." The older one said worried.
"Brúlée is right, Big brother has taken a liking to her. He would be mad if he found out you did this!" The guy with the tongue said worriedly.
"(__) are you coming?" Katakuri called.
"Yes, I'm on my way!!" I shouted back. "I'm sorry if I offended you." I bowed and then quickly ran to Katakuri. They all seem to hold Katakuri at a high regard. I mean it's nice to have respect for him but if this is how they always treated him that means he's been alone all these years. When I finally caught up to Katakuri I stood on his left side hiding the cheek the got slapped away from him. She hit me pretty hard. I'm sure she left a red mark there.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"To my room."
