Chapter 67 : Joshua's plan.

Third person point of view

The next day, Joshua did find Noah during lunch by chance. He sat down beside him with a bit of a gloomy expression. " What happened ? " Noah asked worried; falling for Joshua's act. " I had to arrange a few files, but my team leader isn't liking it no matter how I do it. You might have done it for sir Alex before. How do you generally arrange them ? " 

Noah tapped his chin. " I don't really do it most of the time. I don't go into his office that much as well. He does a few things by himself and doesn't like it if anyone does them. So none of us actually do it ". Joshua nodded. " Too bad. I guess I should find a way by myself ". Noah nodded. " It is fine. You will do it ! Don't worry ". 

Noah said cheering on Joshua. He smiled and Joshua smiled back. Joshua fell in thought about it. He then remembered about Alex. " By the way did sir come to the office today ? " Noah shook his head. " No he didn't. Why ? " Joshua shook his head. " Just asking ". Noah nodded and continued to eat his food. Joshua changed the topic.

Elijah finished his lunch and sat down playing games for a while. He heard his phone ring. He glanced at it and it was Nicholas calling him. He picked up putting it on speaker continuing the game. " What is it ? " He asked immediately. " A hello would be nice ". Nicholas said with a roll of his eyes. Elijah glanced at the phone.

" Hang up and call again. I will give you your hello ". Nicholas scoffed. " Jerk ". Elijah smirked. " So ? What is it ? " He asked again and Nicholas answered this time. " There is this guy who handles the files for Alex. He goes to the office at night and gets the confidential files from there. He is going to go there again tonight. What do you want me to do ? "

Nicholas told him everything he got. Elijah thought for a second. " Just follow him and see what he does and where he goes with them. After that.... we will see ". " Okay ". They were silent for a second. Nicholas spoke up again. " Had lunch ? " " Yes ". " Good ". " Are you my mother ? " Elijah asked making Nicholas curse. 

" Yeah why ? Got a problem ? " Elijah smiled. " Nothing really. But I don't remember my mom being 6 feet ". Elijah teased. " I also don't remember having such an unfilial son ". " I am the best son you could ever ask for ". Nicholas groaned. " Ugh. Just hang up ". " Bye mom ". " BYE ! " Nicholas hung up and Elijah continued his game with a smile.

Joshua came back home waiting to tell the information he got from Noah. He sat down beside Elijah and told him about his conversation with Noah. " I had a doubt since the start, but now I am able to confirm it. He only helps with office affairs, but Alex has someone else who helps him with whatever other things he does. It is definitely not Noah ". 

Elijah nodded. " We have to get the files somehow ". Elijah noticed how Joshua looked desperate. " But- " " How about we go get them tonight ? " Elijah's eyes went wide. " You mean steal them ? " Joshua rolled his eyes. " If not like this, how do you think you will get them ? " Elijah was at a loss of words. 

His eyes were shaking. He knew it wouldn't be that safe if they go tonight. But he couldn't just say that to Joshua. " How about tomorrow ? " Elijah asked. " No. He didn't come to the office today, so the chances of the files being there or not being is the same. What if he takes them away when he comes tomorrow ? " 

Elijah didn't have an answer for that. " Well yeah... that can happen ". He sighed lost for words. " So let's go tonight and get them. Also ask Nicholas to help us hack into the security system of my office. We shouldn't get caught after all ". Elijah nodded. " I will be back in a minute ". Joshua got up and walked to his room to go to the bathroom. 

Elijah quickly picked up his phone and called Nicholas. " Hello ". " Joshua said he wants to go to the office tonight to steal the files from Alex's office ". Nicholas opened his mouth in shock. " But today-" " That is what. I don't know what to do to stop him ". Elijah kept his voice low. " What do we do ? " Nicholas also sounded desperate.

" I don't know ". Elijah ran a hand through his hair. " I don't really see a potential plan to stop him ". Nicholas said and Elijah nodded to himself. Nicholas was right. Elijah took a deep breath. " We will go. I will be there with him, so nothing will happen. I will take care ". " Will it be fine ? " Nicholas was worried. " It HAS to be ". 

Elijah said with determination. " What do you want me to do now ? " Nicholas asked thinking if they will change the plan. " Nothing new. Do what I said to you. Don't take any action until I say ". " Be careful ". " Okay ". " Also you need to hack the security system of that office building, so that we don't get caught ". 

" I don't need to ". " What do you mean ? " " That guy does that every time when he gets the files, so you need not worry about it ". " Oh okay ". " Don't forget to call me in case you need any help ". " Okay ". " Bye. Be careful ". Elijah hung up and stood up pacing in the room. He took a few deep breaths. He will be able to handle it, so there was nothing to panic about.

He calmed down a little and was back to his usual expression. If not for his natural stoic face, he would've got caught when Joshua said all that. He sat down waiting for Joshua. Joshua came out and sat beside Elijah. " Are you okay ? " Joshua nodded. " So ? " " I spoke to Nicholas and he said he would do it ". Joshua nodded.

Ohhhh ~~ Dude's stuck in a tough situation. But frankly speaking Elijah is someone with good luck, so let's see what happens. 

I don't really have much to say these days, plus there are going to be three chapters I don't have much to say. 😂
