Weiss.
To lose patience is to lose the battle as mother used to say whenever Willow played a prank on her. How I wish her famous quote could be applied to my current situation.. everywhere I looked, there were stacks of documents after documents, it was a never ending pile of problems from my kingdom. With Willow managing the kingdom in my place, the worries were never ending. I have locked myself in my office for over two days now, I haven't had contact with anyone over those days, not even my bloodsucking mate. When I work, I work. Everything outside of my work can wait until I've finished. But now I'm starting to think I need a break. Usually I could last for a week with only doing my duties as a queen.. without any contact with anybody but not this time.. not when I'm craving and missing my idiotic Sapphire..

I sighed and placed my book down before massaging my temples. Besides answering concerns, overseeing conflicts and maintaining the order in my kingdom, I have also been doing some extra studies. I've been studying spells from mother's spell book which I refused to open before the war was announced. The spells that mother created were not for the vile thus I never once opened it before.. but I needed it now. Especially the spell that could affect angels. And after reading through the whole spell book, I felt my heart brighten with pride, my mother was truly the best witch to ever walk this world. With all of these powerful spells that she created, she could've become a goddess, but I'm afraid mother was far too humble.

Although.. it breaks my heart to this day.. to know that mother could have been alive with me today.. if only Willow and I were there in time, we could've stopped her from taking her life.

But I suppose there's no more use dwelling in the past. I must see my mate. Maybe a nice and short conversation with her would recharge me. Thus, with a sigh, I snapped my fingers.

Fére me stin agápi mou.

And just like that, I was instantly transported to where Sapphire was. Unfortunately the scene before me was far from what I expected. I had assumed Sapphire would be doing nonsense things whilst I was cooped up in my office but this was definitely the least of my predictions.

Instead of alerting Sapphire of my presence, I stayed incredibly still as I watched my mate. I had to stifle a giggle from escaping as I watched her frantically run around the kitchen, looking for the right ingredient for the cake that she was baking. The sight of her baking the cake made me smile as I reminisced all of the times that she's cooked for me. Although most of those times she had Yna helping her but now.. she's independently baking her own cake, I kind of feel happy watching her.

"Fuck! Where the fuck is that motherfucking mango? Where the fuck did I put it?" Chuckling to myself, I finally decided to end her misery and help her.

"It's right there behind the bowl, Sapphire."

"Holy shit!" Sapphire jumped as she turned around with her adorable surprised expression.

When she realized it was me, what I expected was a kiss and an instant offer to have intercourse but instead, she slowly walked towards me, seeming alert. Before I could ask her why was she being so cautious, she immediately bowed down and yelled, "My Diosa, the love of my life, the queen that I'll only worship! I'm sorry! I don't know what I did yet but I'm sorry for whatever I did!"

I gave her a confused expression, "What..?" It took me awhile but I mentally face palmed as I realized that Sapphire probably assumed that I was angry at her which was why I didn't talk to her for two days.

Sighing, I kneeled down and ran my fingers through her hair. "You didn't do anything, Sapphire.. I'm sorry for not updating you for the last two days.. it's just.. Willow has been managing the kingdom in my place and she's not doing a very good job. I've been doing my duties as queen and normally, I don't talk to anyone when I'm focused. Please forgive me.. from now on, I will talk to you everyday, even just for a minute."
