Chapter 54: Not Done

Luke

I can finally call Cia as my sister without any doubt. And finally, Dad met her... again for a long years na wala kami sa tabi niya.

"Are you okay?" I whispered at Cyan, mukha siyang balisa at kanina pa hindi mapakali.

We are here at a shop. This is Tita Gretchen's bake shop, we are here to discuss some things about organization, about the one who shot my sister, and iba pang agenda nina Dad.

I turned my gaze on Luther's side. What a scam of this fucker, ayaw niya raw makita ang kapatid ko, huh?

Let me remind you all, Luther almost punched me once when I was comforting Cyan before.

How fucker.

I heard a whisper. "Tangina, kasal ako?"

Hindi ko napigilan ang lumingon. Cyan drank her iced coffee. I thought he doesn't want to see my sister after what she did?

"Are you okay, Cyan?" Dad asked her with a soft tone.

Cyan nodded. "Opo," she tried to smiled. She looked away.

We all looked at the door when someone entered.

"The fudge..." nasamid si Tita Gretchen habang nakatingin kay Mommy.

Mom removed her sunglasses as she looked where Cyan was. Mom's bodyguard got her bag and went in our direction.

"What's with the look, people?" "It's that me for being late? Well, I'm sorry. I had a manicure and I had to go to the salon." She even fixed her hair.

Dad let out a sigh, frustrated. Cyan stood up and looked at our mother's finger nails.

Angas, may diamond."

Napailing si Daddy. "You will do that, sweetheart. But let your Mom greet her friends," tumingin siya kay Mommy na nag-uutos.

Mom rolled her eyes. She looked at her friends na si Tita Gretchen. "Hi... nice to see you again." She smiled, and this time... it was real. A smile that is happy to finally see her friend again.

"Oh, shit, this is true." Tita Gretchen hugged her.

Mom chuckles. "Miss you, Chen."

Nilingon ko sina Luther, they were shocked to see my Mom and Luther's Mom hugging each other.

"Ah, inggit ka, Papa?" pang-aasar ni Cyan.

Dad looked at her. "A bit."

We heard a laugh behind, it was Dad's friends.

I thought they would stop already. They were talking seriously, but sometimes laughing. Naputol rin tuloy ang pinag-uusapan nina Dad.

However, it's kinda happy because finally no more lies to them and malinaw na sa mga kaibigan nila ang totoo about kay Mommy.
