12/10/2023 Update:
Ghosts has hit 1 million reads, and I am absolutely blown away by all of your support. When I started this story in May of 2021 I had no idea that so many people would resonate and find comfort in it. I was writing it in the midst of the pandemic while I was being plagued with so many important life choices that I had to make, and I needed an outlet for everything that I was feeling.
So many of you have read this book at least two times, and some of you have read it more than 5 times which absolutely blows my mind. Even sitting here and writing this, I am absolutely in awe at the life that this story has taken on.
I can now say that I am fortunate enough to have heard Ghosts performed live by Mayday Parade, and I was able to tell the lead singer just how much this song meant to me. I've been able to make so many friends on here because of this story, and I've been able to speak to so many of you across the world because of it.
There is a fully edited version of this and I Swear This Time I Mean It posted on my AO3, UnlostDrarry. There have been very few changes to the plot as a whole, but I think the story does flow a bit better there.
