"Matt stop! You know I can't swim!", I squealed as he pulled on my feet from inside the pool.

I was deadly afraid of water. I can remember it like yesterday. I was over my cousins house swimming in her pool. I was goofing around and chocked on water, nearly drowning. Ever since that happened I swore never to go in water again.

"C'mon baby I'm here, I can help you learn", he whined pouting his lip.

"Matt you know how scared I am of water", I cried pulling my feet away from him.

"I will be right here. It's time to face your problem", he lightly smiled.

I sighed, he was right. I had to face my fear sooner or later. I trust Matt, it just I don't trust the water. If you know what I mean.

"Alright are you ready?", Matt asked smiling with opened arms.

"No", I backed up from the side of the pool shaking me head. "I think I changed my mind", I covered my eyes.

"I'm right here, it's too late to back out now", he swam over to the side of the pool.

I sighed sitting down by the edge of the pool. Slowly inch by inch I went into the water as Matthew held my waist.

"Look you can stand here, you can let go", he laughed at how I was holding on him for dear life.

"I don't want too", I shook my head as I wrapped my legs around his waist, tightening my grip around his neck.

"Babe pleaseee. You have to at least try", he kissed my cheek.

I released my feet from his waist, my feet touched the smooth slick surface of the bottom of the pool.

"Now let go of your arms", he laughed looking down at me.

I shook my head burying my head into his neck. Slowly I pulled my arms away from his neck. I slide my hands down his arms to grab his hands.

"Okay now move your feet as if you were riding a bicycle", he shook his head, showing me how to tread water.

I repeated what he did, except not so graceful. My legs kicked all directions causing me to accidentally to kick him in his "no no" area. He groaned in pain as he gave me a light smile.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry", I covered my mouth with my hands.

"It's okay really", he tried hiding that he was in pain. "But look at the bright side you let go of me", he laughed lightly pointing to the fact I let go.

I looked at myself seeing I was treading water. I was actually doing it! I mean, I can stand here. But I'm actually doing it! Never in a million years I thought I could swim.

"Oh my god Matt I'm swimming!", I shouted jumping into his arms.

"See I knew you could do it!", he smiled kissing my temple.

"Thank you for believing in me", I hugged him tightly.

"No problem babe, but I think I need some ice", he laughed turning red.

"Oh yeah c'mon let's go get some", I giggled pecking him on the lips before getting out of the pool.

The end :)
