"Damon trust me about this one!" I smiled coldly at my uncle who was now my guardian.
"Oh yea the one who has been bringing you late at night, past your curfew may I add!!" Damon fumed and took another swig but I knew he wasn't drunk.
"I know but this one is different, he's honest and sweet, and wouldn't do anything to hurt me."
"HE'S A GUY!" Damon wailed.
I sighed knowing I wouldn't get through to him.
"Why don't we all go on a fancy dinner and you both can talk." I offered knowing he would have to come whether or not.
Damon let out a loud sigh before saying "Fine!"
I smiled and pecked his cheek and then ran up to my room calling Ethan and telling him about the dinner.

"Damon we have to go!!" I yelled as Damon just slipped on his jacket and nodded then we both went to the restaurant...
THIRD PERSON POV
when the two finally got to the restaurant they fixed their clothes dusting off anything that have might stuck on their.
Y/n was wearing a black tight dress with a leather jacket and red heels. Pretty sexy in her opinion.
Damon was wearing black jeans and a black v neck with his leather jacket also. Classic.
"Reservation for Salvatore." Y/n said to the boy working the counter.
The boy nodded and got out three menus and told the two to follow him.
Damon and y/n sat down at the table with 4 chairs but obviously only needed 3. Y/n sat in the middle and Damon sat on her left.
"I swear if I think who he think he is—" Damon started coming to conclusions.
"He isn't Damon. Ok?" Y/n cut him off.
Damon stared at y/n for a while before going back to reading the menu.
A few minutes later Ethan arrived at the restaurant with sweaty palms and forehead constantly tapping his foot nervously. Ethan was very nervous. He has never met Damon but just the name in itself sounded scary to him.
"Uh I'm with Salvatore." Ethan stuttered as the boy looked at him with the brow raised and then told Ethan to follow him.
When Ethan finally made it to the table he's never been so intimidated in his life. Damon was handsome. He didn't even look old! Ethan started to panic. Damon could sense Ethan's nervousness which made Damon smirk and then thought of a plan.
"H-hi Mr. Salvatore, I-I'm Ethan." Ethan smiled nervously and took his hand hand out for Damon to shake.
"Hello Ethan." Damon smirked and stood tall making Ethan gulp loudly at how tall and built he was.
Once Damon shook Ethan's hand, Damon felt his hand sweating and chuckled.
"Hey Ethan." Y/n smiled and went to kiss Ethan and Ethan nervously backed up a little then went for the little peck on y/n's cheek. Y/n pulled away confused but quickly shook it off.
Now all of them sat down Damon was the first to talk "so Ethan what do you do for a living?"
Ethans palms could be a swimming pool for ants up to this point.
"Uhm I-uh I'm a technician." Ethan stuttered.
"Really? Interesting. What do you plan on doing with this lovely lady." Damon gestured to you.
"Uh I Uh plan on making her the happiest women alive, you know even though I don't have enough money I want to give her anything she needs." Ethan said with a small smile imagining the future he is going to have with you.
Damon stared at Ethan with a blank expression. Damon was impressed at how much ethan loves you and is willing to do anything for you. He had that once. He knows the way Ethan looks at you. He is going to treat you right.
"So Ethan have any siblings?" Damon started laying back in his chair.
"Yea I have a Uh twin, but he already has a family. A life of his own, but I still visit him once in a while. I also have a sister." Ethan said less nervous.
"Do you plan on having a family with y/n?" Damon said all of a sudden.
"Damon!" Y/n said sternly.
"Just asking." Damon shrugged.
"Uh if she really wants to, we are still so young maybe in the future when she's ready." Ethan tried to say as easily as he could.
Y/n looked at Ethan shocked. He really wanted a future with her. He plans on keeping her for that long.
"I'm glad to hear that." Damon smiled genuinely.
Ethan smiled as well.
The whole night Ethan and Damon talked and joked around. Damon even told Ethan about some embarrassing stories about y/n that made y/n slouch down in embarrassment. They haven't even talked to you that much because they were caught up in the conversation they were having.
Y/n was just staring in awe at Damon who seemed to know like Ethan. He hasn't been That happy in a while and y/n was glad.
Of course Damon was skeptical at first the past boyfriends you had were cheaters or just bad guys who did drugs. But there was something about Ethan that you knew was good.
They weren't even paying attention and you payed even though Damon said he was. Soon enough you both were out and Damon and Ethan were still talking.
"Well Ethan. I like you but if you break her heart or if she comes home crying one day because of you I will tear your heart out." Damon got all in Ethan's face as he said that. Ethans palms were sweating once again and gulped loudly.
"Yes s-s-sir." Ethan stuttered.
Damon smiled like nothing happened and clapped his hands together "I better get goin' see ya later." Damon left holding up the peace sign.
Ethan let out a loud breathe as he put his hands on his knees panting.
You chuckled and lifted his chin up kissing him on the lips which made Ethan relaxed.
"I was so nervous. He looks so intimidating." Ethan breathed out.
"Yea Damon's been through a lot. But he does care about me." Y/n smiled.
Ethan nodded and wrapped his arms around her holding her tight.
"I love you." Ethan breathed out.
"I love you too, e." Y/n chuckled and kissed his cheek.
